Sat down at the bar to have a Prosecco before my flight and the bar tender asked for my ID, naturally. Upon handing it to her, she scoffed and said she will not accept a “vertical” ID, even as it clearly states I am of legal drinking age. She was very rude and unapologetic. Make sure you visit the DMV before Lounge 5280 in the Denver airport.
Friendly thoughtful
Nice stay between 2 flights
Bacon ham cheese was delicious
The waitress was amazing I didn't catch her name but y'all need to tip more so she can go skiing more ?
Seriously sucks that the manager kicks people out for buying from the other food courts… I still bought drinks here! It’s not my fault you don’t have gluten free options… the waitress is totally sweet and awesome though. The bald dude was rude as all get up. I had three peach ciders.

Rosie was a great host !!! Sure hope I spelled her name correctly. Glad we stopped by !! Will stop again for sure. Great drinks. Perfect spot for drinks on a layover. Right in the middle of B terminal at Denver airport.

Perfect spot for a peaceful layover (B terminal) In the middle on the mezzanine at Denver International Airport….good food and cocktails. Great service. Welcoming. There are tables with comfortable chairs with plugs at tables. Lounge 5280 has a relaxing & welcoming bar (sports on TV)One end has high top tables with soft chairs in addition to the comfy chairs & tables. Lounge overlooks the moving travelers, and duty-free shops below-but is still quiet..As you walk up to the other -front- end there is a casual patio with patio tables and chairs. So, there is a something for everyone. Good views inside the airport—and lots of light—We had the warm olives with delicious Manchego cheese and a nice cocktail. It was really excellent.. . can’t speak to other items but they have 6 other food items on menu. Also avocado toast & bagels for breakfast menu. Extensive beer, wine, and cocktails menu.. Lounge 5280 is in the middle of the middle terminal (B terminal) mezzanine . Highly recommended.

Bartender spoke to custome (and me) like she didn't want to be the bartender. IF I was ownership I would look for better staffing.

The kind of place that is always empty for a reason. Entitled servers, price gouging even for airport standards, dirty tables, and poor food and drink selection due to outdated attention to quality.

Wouldn't accept a legal ID
My connection was missed due to a delayed first flight, so I had 3 unexpected hours to kill, which I told the server upon sitting down. There were a total of 4 of us in the lounge and it was very quiet (not busy in the least). I was not checked on a single time after my drink and salad were brought, no water was offered …. yet she seemed to have plenty of time to chat with a friend who stopped by - right next to my table where she would’ve seen my empty drink and plate had she been paying any attention to me at all. I paid and left after about 15 minutes sitting there with no refill offered when she finally came to check on me. Thankful I had an airline voucher to use and didn’t spend much actual money here. NOPE.

The staff at the lounge were friendly and accommodating. I can’t compliment them enough. However, the management needs to repair the dishwasher so they can provide a more efficient service to clients and reduce the risk of spreading seasonal illnesses.

Came here on a long layover and experienced some of the poorest service I have had in a while. I entered on the far end (away from the bar) and wasn't sure if I just grabbed a table or had to be seated since there was no sign or directions. There was another woman who entered before me and eventually sat down at a table. The waitress (shorter blonde) was in the area so I wasn't sure if she had directed her or not. After the waitress finished at her tables in the area while not acknowledging me, I asked her the process, she told me yes just grab a table. There were only high tables open and a few short tables that were almost done. I decided after a few minutes I didn't want to wait for a short table so I decided to leave but as i was halfway around the other side I saw 2 short tables getting up to leave so came around and entered from the bar side. I stood for a few minutes by the recently vacated tables waiting for them to clear it. The shorter blonde finally came and cleared the old drinks and put down a new napkin but did not wipe the table. She wanted my order but since I had not looked at the menu or even sat down for that matter I was not ready.A taller brunette waitress was wiping the 2 other tables so I assumed she would come wipe mine too, she did not, just went back behind the bar. I sat down, looked at the menu and waited a few minutes. The tall brunette came to take my order, I asked her to wipe the table, she said ok and took my order and walked away. Minutes passed and she came back with a glass of water and I again asked her to wipe the table. She said "Oh, I thought you told me the other girl wiped your table?" I said, " No, why would I announce that to you? I specifically asked you to wipe it because the other waitress cleared it but did not clean it." She then proceeds to say loudly OK, my goodness as she is walking away as if I was acting ridiculous or requesting something outrageous. No one wants to eat at a dirty table from a previous guest and politely asking, which is exactly what I did does not warrant any person in the service industry to get smart with or try to make a scene with a customer. A simple sorry about that and wiping the table would have solved the issue but she chose to be ignorant instead and when she left was not grabbing a rag to wipe the table but instead decided to fiddle with things on the bar instead.I gathered my things and left and will not return. If that is the level of cleanliness and service they set as standard, I will pass. I went and spent my money elsewhere with clean tables and a friendly, attentive waitress.
