Lowdown will be missed! A developer aiming to ruin this part of town has purchased the property and it makes me sad. Great drinks, food & atmosphere - I hope they open another location someday in the Denver area.Lost another one to over development, thanks for the memories!

Quiet bar during the day but had a great time. Lots of good food options and service was good. Lots of beers on tap, I did not try any though. There is an upper patio which is really nice too. Right next to a gym. Have a workout and a meal lol.

Lowdown Brewery + Kitchen has a great dog friendly outdoor space with enough tables to satisfy quite a few guests. We did not go inside so I cannot speak to its size and seating. The service was not bad, but not great either, it appeared that they were a bit understaffed the day that we visited. Our server was friendly but there were long pauses in between getting attention at our table. The food was nothing special in my opinion. It wasn't bad, but really wasn't anything that would draw me back either. The best option we tried was a beer cheese dip that came with apples, broccoli and bread for dipping. The pizza really was the letdown here for a place that looks to primarily specialize in it as their food focus. It was mostly flavorless, and while their pre-designed options were creative, to build yourself a more standard topping pizza would cost more that it is worth. The cost overall wasn't terrible, but not a bargain either. TL:DR - Understaffed, Come for drinks and apps, skip the pizza

While waiting for a table at Reckless Noodles, my friends and I came to Lowdown for a beer... and now I want to try the food! Especially the bacon-wrapped dates. Customer service is dope. Love the vibe. Love most breweries in Denver, actually. I got something light (can't remember what) but I liked it. My friends enjoyed their beverages as well. It was a little too chilly that day to check out the patio, but that's where I'm headed next. Looking forward to it.

The service here was fantastic, and the food was SO GOOD. Their fries were excellent. I tried their Dark Side dark ale and it was dreamy. I recommend!

Didn’t come for the beers. Wife wanted some broccoli and she loves bread and anything cheese. When I saw their “You’re F@#king Welcome app I knew my wife would love it. Just a simple platter of Roasted broccoli, apple slices, and some fresh bread all to dip into a homemade beer cheese which is one of the best I’ve ever had. We both got salads which we enjoyed. The Caesar dressing on mine was a little on the lemony side and didn’t really taste like Caesar but still good.

My favorite local brewery. I've lived in the area for 15 years and we always frequent this place. The pizza is fantastic and the beers are top notch. Great atmosphere and service, and they have a ton of games you can play behind the bar. They also have some nice outdoor seating. Highly recommend

I'm visiting Colorado and went here on my last night and loved everything. The hard kombucha was amazing. The beer cheese appetizer was awesome. I absolutely loved the Prosciutto and pesto sandwich which I added chicken to and had with a side of fries. Awesome spot for some good food.

First time trying Lowdown! Gotta say it was pretty solid on all fronts. Good beer selection, tasty food menu, and spacious and shaded outdoor patio area. Hard to ask for more!

Atmosphere is cool. I know nothing about beer so not grading on beer selection. Service was good. Underwhelmed with the food. Started with devils on horseback, which are always a fav of mine, but these were not good. The beer cheese appetizer was good but they give you lots of cheese and hardly any bread. The apples were also an interesting add, but again they don't give you many. My friends had Havana and brisket sandwhich and were ll it in love. Their fries are good, but they are served with marinara rather than ketchup. Kinda weird. I had the day tripper pizza. The crust was like cardboard.

Fantastic little place. Beer was damn near perfect and the food was spot on. Fantastic atmosphere with a really great setting for hanging out and enjoying some pints and pizza.

Wasn't planning on having another beer at the end of the night, but decided to try the Barley wine which I hadn't seen before. Really nice, complex flavor and sweet but still a beer. My interaction with the waitress was comical. I had trouble choosing a pizza. The Marissa, mushroom and house sausage all looked great. The waitress recommended the Marissa. But chicken...on a pizza? After I thought on it for more than a minute, she just walked away. As she was leaving I said mushroom. But then the server brought me the Marissa! Did she not hear me? Was she just not having any of my drunk dilly dallying? Even though the idea of chicken on a pizza sounds criminal, and I'm biased toward red sauce, the Marissa's pesto, Parmesan, arugula and crispy prosciutto hit so hard. And the crust, a hallmark thin and flavorful. Crisp on the first bite but still soft. I'm already convinced every pizza on this menu is top notch, for a beyond reasonable price. If this waitress has anything to say about it, I'll never get to try the mushroom. And I'm not even that mad about it!

Beers and pizza are tasty but service was less than mediocre at best. Place had less than 15 people and it took 15+ minutes to close the check because our waitress said she was “busy talking”. Solid food and beer but improve the waitstaff attentiveness.

Sadly this place missed the mark for me, nothing outrageously egregious, just underwhelming, but great vibe and friendly service. Beers are balanced and drinkable. More of a locals hangout I feel. All in all, not bad, just not my favorite.
