I think on a different night, this could have been a 5 star experience, but last night's dinner experience was lacking on multiple service fronts. I think there needs to be a little more work on handling a dinner rush. To start, we were seated 20 minutes after our reserved time, not being told what kind of wait or what order in the queue we were. Instead we were told to sit in their freezing-cold coat room with the slowest closing door in the whole city.
When we were finally seated it was quite a nice ambiance and at first our waiter was very attentive. It was very busy when we first got there, so I understood most of the longer periods when he didn't check in. But then it took 25 minutes to get my cocktail (Midnight symphony, it was AMAZING, such a good chocolate bourbon mix). We were also told with some sass that people normally order the entrees and antipasti at the same time, and after that point our waiter for whatever reason lost all of the attentiveness and candor that he started with.
The burrata was AMAZING. Delicious and creamy homemade cheese, and the sweetness of the tomato on the spread was incredible. The mussels were great; tons of rich flavor in the broth and plenty of them. I had the Bolognese which was lovely as well; great hand made pasta ($8 extra for a single meatball? That's a bit much, and the meatball was dry).
I believe we were only checked in on once when I had asked our waiter for a wine menu so I could pair with my entree. We were never given one and had to ask a different waiter who immediately retrieved one for us. I was already done with my entree by the time someone had returned to take my wine order, however they were very quick to pour the glass once ordered which was appreciated.
To close out the meal we were offered a complimentary tiramisu because we had a birthday in our group. However, we were never actually delivered that offering after accepting it, and instead we were given a check which had a double charge on a rather expensive item (which I caught before paying and had corrected). I am especially confused because at this point late at night we were only 1 of 2 tables that our waiter now was in charge of.
The food was amazing, and the ambience was lovely outside of that coat room and all around I had a lovely evening. But for the price of that meal I don't think it's unfair to ask for a better service experience.
I'd like to come back and try their pizza, but I wouldn't return on a Saturday night if yesterday's experience was indicative.

We have been to several Bonano restaurants and have had exceptional service and food. Last night's Luca dinner was a disappointment. We made a reservation and were told they were running behind because it was cold out and people didn't want to leave. That is the restaurants issue not ours. Move guests through on a time limit then! We were seated 30 mins after our reservation at a table not far from the door and were freezing the whole time. Our waiter was terrible, not checking on us, not bringing us wine lists, just not attentive. Food was good but nothing fabulous for what we paid.

Food and service excellent! Music a bit loud which resulted in louder conversations!!! Also the music a bit edgy for a restaurant... more appropriate for a night club.
We had such a wonderful evening Friday night. The staff made us not only feel welcomed, but very special. The Italian food was extraordinary - the best we've had since California. Our cocktails were delicious and unique. We have the highest praise for Luca. The only change we would have made would be for the music to be in the background so that we could have conversed more easily. We woke up the next morning talking about what a wonderful occasion last evening was and plan to return to Luca soon.
Wonderful meal with friends- had delicious West Meets West cocktail followed by a glass of Chardonnay to accompany their salami and cheese plate, salad de arance, and scallop gnocchi dishes. The salamis were flavorful, and the combination of light anchovy and citrus on the salad was perfect. Really enjoyed the ratio of scallop, sauce, and gnocchi in the main. Service was attentive, and ambience was nice, though the music was a touch loud. Will definitely be returning.
Our food and service was excellent. The space is inviting. However, the loud obnoxious music ruins the ambience of what would otherwise be a very pleasant dining experience.
The food came out impressively fast considering the level of craftsmanship, and it tasted amazing—my whole family loved it. We would definitely order from there again. The Italian cuisine was excellent.
The service was delightful, and our server, Dakota, was wonderful. It was my daughter’s birthday, and when we ordered her dessert, Dakota brought the bill and kindly made the dessert complimentary, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The restaurant itself was very elegant and upscale, with great music and a welcoming atmosphere. Aside from one emotional guest nearby, the overall vibe was very enjoyable.
I would absolutely recommend Luca.

Luca never disappoints. The quality of the food and the experience are simply and consistently wonderful. This is a many time repeat visit for us for good reason: incredible food and beverages, a sweet and relaxed and warm environment, and lovely people intent on giving guests a wonderful experience. On this particular visit, the shaved Brussel sprout Caesar salad, the burrata-stuffed chicken parm, and the wild mushroom fusilli graced our plates. Thank you for always restoring our faith in a great menu and a great environment.
We had the best time and the tiramisu is outrageously delicious! All the food was incredible and the service was immaculate!

This pizza place is an absolute masterpiece. From the moment you walk in, the smell alone feels like a warm hug. The crust? Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside clearly made by people who respect pizza. The sauce is rich, flavorful, and balanced, and the toppings are fresh, generous, and thoughtfully chosen.
Every bite made me pause and go, “Wow.” This is the kind of pizza you think about days later. The staff is friendly, the vibe is cozy, and the food comes out hot and fast. If you’re even considering eating pizza anywhere else, don’t. This place sets the standard. I will be back and I’m bringing everyone I know

The food was some of the best we have eaten at any restarant! It was cool how the various servers would clear our plates and silverware in between each of the 4 plates / courses we ordered, wipe the table and reset new dishes. An excellent touch was the time taken to explain each of the dishes, what was in them and the time it takes to purists certain foods. Phenomenal really. I'm surprised the place is not nationally recognized. We were invited by a family member, and indeed it was perfect! Real food. Real ingredients... the people were amazing.
