I ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese and the sauce was tasty. The portion was very small and the pasta didn't taste like fresh pasta. I couldn't tell the difference between this fresh made pasta and dry pasta. I had higher expectations and expected to taste like fresh pasta I had at the Eataly chain. My friend ordered the Lobster Fra Diavolo which was also small with 6 pieces.

I wanted to give this place five stars for the great service and great food but was absolutely appalled when the bill came and we noticed a 22% “CHP” fee which apparently stands for “creating happy people.” I am literally rolling my eyes as I type that out. This fee which is quietly hidden in the bill is a pretentious and patronizing way to make the customer feel okay with paying out the kitchen staff since apparently the owner doesn’t pay them enough.Just a lame way of deceptively passing off the cost of running a restaurant to the consumer.By the way - this fee is not the tip so be prepared to pay the additional 20% on top of that.Nearly 42% of our bill was fees which means we paid $270 as a group of 3.Super lame. I don’t care how good the food is, I will never eat here again.

Frank is an outstanding server; very attentive and friendly. This was my second time at the restaurant. The first time I had pizza and the second time a pasta dish. Both were phenomenal. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Overall had a great experience! Jason was our server, he took excellent care of us & gave good recommendations. House-made mozzarella was delicious. And they even gave us two cannolis, but only charged us for one! Only slight downside was that the Crab Agnolotti was a little too salty.

Don't go anywhere else for pasta in Denver. Lucas and it's partner chain Marco have the best! Mushroom fuscilli was perfection, the butatta was scrumptious, and the prime rib was delicious!

Excellent semi-traditional Italian. The pizzas aren't great, but the fresh pastas, chicken parm, and desserts are top-notch.

The food here was almost always amazing, cooked with passion and love. Being vegetarian, my options were always very limited. The environment is rustic and casual, smaller than you would think. working as the Maitre d' i had a great responsibility from making and editing reservations on the phone to serving the guests and making sure they left happy. I essentially did everything in that restaurant other than make my own cocktails and cook the food. Within my nearly 2 years with Bonanno concepts I experienced a lot of things that I would say led me to feeling traumatized in ways, experiencing sexual harassment, bullying, and firing employees without trying to communicate with them first. I always put in all the effort and positive emotion into every shift and into every guest experience, regardless of their title or status. I watched many people come and go but I stayed for as long as I could until I was told "for us to take care of you, we can offer you a full time server position. It is a decrease in hourly wages. you would have to be making the same hourly as every other server. this is what we're looking for you don't come here and tell us what we need to give you." I was told to take a test so they can evaluate what I bring to the table and I told them that didn't define my worth or value. Since before this discussion I had communicated with the wellness director and managment about the struggles I was facing mentally, emotionally and financially. Now nearly two months after my departure I'm still facing self doubts, depression, anxiety and financial hardship. all things I had expressed to multiple people within management. Nightmares of being degraded and feeling worthless now haunt me almost nightly. I let this restaurant take advantage of me and this is my fault. Although I hope through my journey here and my experience I can leave you a review about Luca that doesn't taste or sit well.Vegetarian options: there are but limited choices.Dietary restrictions: they accomadate to the best of their ability

Very possibly the best Italian in Denver. Part of the Bonnano Concepts that has Mizuna. Excellent Mushroom Fusili, and braised short rib. The Burrata is the best you will find in the state. Great restaraunt

Really good and would come back.We ordered the arancini and octopus to start. The arancini was good, served with a sort of tomato jelly and basil. The octopus was a bummer - instead of giving you a whole tentacle (which for the price of ~$16 you’d assume), they sliced in into thirds and you got 1/3 of a slice of tentacle. We’ve never seen that before and it was overcooked.m bc of it. Seems very cheap to only serve a 1/3 of a dish. Also got the burrata stuffed chicken served over Al dente pasta, and then braised short ribs over polenta. The short ribs won.Offered a complimentary glass of bubbly to start which was nice!

Love this place! From the complimentary Prosecco to the pre-dessert almond mousse, and oh my gawd that Panna Cotta! Amazing experience, and fantastic service. Our quaint little neighborhood high end dining spot! And we were able to reserve same day on a Friday! Definitely go!

A friend of mine had recommended Luca, and I’m so happy I finally made it out here. I really enjoyed everything we ordered — especially the scallops. The service was great, and it was a good spot for a fun catchup with my friend.Drink: Fig cocktail (rum, fig, balsamic reduction, lime, mint, and soda water)Food:Shaved Brussel Sprouts CaesarWild Mushroom FusilliScallops with risotto

Travis was a delight this evening. Started with some complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Then recommended some great wine and even though I have a gluten intolerance, he mentioned that the semolina flour used there was pretty reduced in gluten content and it rarely upsets the stomach's of those with gluten issues (as long as it's not full celiac) and he was spot on. My stomach feels completely fine after my dish.He followed it up with a delicious small dessert on the house. We love Luca and will definitely be back. Thanks again for the great service and kind energy!
