During my second visit to Denver, I was determined to find a nice Creole restaurant to try. First on my list right off the plane was Lucile’s. Based upon the reviews I figured it would be a good start, however it did fall short IMO.
Food • Biscuit: The biscuit was large, fluffy & edible. 8/10. • Cajun Breakfast: I figured I would try something different but wish I hadn’t. There was a lack of seasoning & the potatoes were fried quite hard. The food came out somewhat cold so that didn’t help but tells me it wasn’t freshly made just thrown together & it showed. It took the mimosa & me being hungry to eat what I could. I highly would not recommend! 2/10.
As someone who loves the Creole cuisine & travels to New Orleans quite often, Luciles just doesn’t hit the mark.

But I really came here to tell you all about the hot chocolate. Best hot chocolate I’ve ever had in my life. In fact, I want some right now but it’s night time so I can’t get it.
Literally daydreaming about pulling up to the bar and ordering a hot chocolate. Omg.
