We had the shrimp + grits and it was amazing! It was a good portion so I had leftovers, which were equally as amazing as having it the first time, 10/10 fresh 10/10 left over.
Cat was our server and she was very kind and just an amazing server <3 made the experience even better!

I think when it comes to going out for breakfast, many of the foods served can be easily made at home but I can't say the same thing for Lucile's. Their menu items are certainly unique and always delicious.
I don't think you can go wrong with anything served here and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. My one complaint is that when I ordered the blackened salmon (highly recommended), I did not receive the buttermilk biscuit that comes with the order! Unfortunately, I had not known that it came with my order until afterwards which was a little upsetting.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and have never had an issue with the service or the food. My friend visiting was interested in going since we’re from Houston.
The server was surly; every interaction left a lingering sense of contempt. My food was satisfactory; however, my friend was concerned about her meal. She asked for my opinion. I could taste that some of the potatoes were overseasoned; overall, it seemed like a mix of an old batch.
I recommend that she mention it to my surprise, the server just said, “That’s just the seasoning.”
I have never had a server not try to make good on a complaint about the food. We felt overall unwelcome. So distraught by the experience, we didn’t even finish our coffee. I don’t plan on ever coming back.

Been eating at Lucille's for YEARS and their quality has maintained. One of my favorite brunch spots in Denver. Recommend the Benedict and a bloody Mary!

Read greats reviews, so decided to try while in Denver. The food did not disappoint. Lunch was consisted of sausage, rice and red beans with a biscuit. Good portion and very good. You can’t forget the beignets!! Will return.
Born and raised in Louisiana I’m always looking for restaurants that can give me a taste of home. The beignets here were as close to Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans as I feel I can get. The omelette and potatoes had very little seasoning but I added my own which honestly I prefer instead of something being overly salty. The gravy was delicious and went well with my biscuit and I added some on my potatoes. Will definitely be back with the family.
