I had the Cajun breakfast. Sometimes you just need a simple meal and this one delivered! Everything was perfect. I haven't gone to Lucille's often, but I've never been disappointed when I do. The cheese grits are the best I've had in the Denver metro area. And I know red beans aren't typical breakfast food, but the mixture of beans and pork with a piece of poached egg packed a ton of flavor! My only complaint is that the biscuits are too big for me. The hostess greeted us and mentioned this is a scratch kitchen, everything is homemade from scratch. We were seated outside with a covered patio. The warm Beignets with homemade blueberry jam is amazing. My plate of biscuits and sausage gravy, red beans, cheesy grits and potatoes was fantastic. The staff is very friendly and and down to earth. I highly recommend!!!
Lucile’s Creole is a vibe! 🎉🔥 The biscuits are massive and the beignets? Powdered sugar explosion, but worth it! Cajun breakfast w/ jalapeño cheddar grits = next level. Southern hospitality & flavors on point! 🥞🌶️
