Born and raised in Louisiana I’m always looking for restaurants that can give me a taste of home. The beignets here were as close to Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans as I feel I can get. The omelette and potatoes had very little seasoning but I added my own which honestly I prefer instead of something being overly salty. The gravy was delicious and went well with my biscuit and I added some on my potatoes. Will definitely be back with the family.
Enjoyed a really nice brunch with my sister the other day. I particularly appreciate offbeat restaurant options, and Lucile's definitely fits the bill for that. Definitely gives that authentic feel to Creole foods.
A friend and I had Sunday brunch and couldn’t have had a better experience. The only downside was not being able to try everything on the menu all at once… but we’ll be back!
We started with beignets and cafe au lait (a requirement). I ordered the shrimp and grits which came with a biscuit and their homemade jam.
