Our server was marvelous! He was knowledgeable and attentive but not overly cloying. The food was terrific and the ambience was “holiday joyful”.
Food was wonderfully presented, tasted amazing and we had a wonderful all around experience. Can't wait to go back.
Mostly enjoyed the experience and plan to return for sure. Cute spot with a good ambience. We really enjoyed the paella, which was nice and full, and also the gansito. desert. The moqueca was also pretty good; had a Thai feel to it. But for us the black ceviche was a bit of a bust. Flavor just a bit too flat and bland. Overall enjoyable and we will eventually return to try other things, in addition to the paella again. Good place for gluten free dining as well, for those interested in that.

Our food was delicious and timely served. Small plates and appetizers first and then the main course. Our server was very very good and helped us enjoy our experience to the fullest. Just lovely.
The mussels were outstanding as was the salad. Everyone totally enjoyed the hamburger. What a wonderful experience!I'm
Lucina's is our go-to for special occasions and grown up nights out. The food Is amazing, service tailored to your group and timing, and the atmosphere lovely. I can never take my eyes off the gorgeous wallpaper. The menu “moves” with the times and seasons, but you can almost always get the mussels (unbelievable with thin slices of chorizo nestled in every one), conchinita, and mofongo (the pork belly is generous and crispy/juicy perfection). The bacalao was new to us last night and, as with the mussels, you want to spoon the residual broth into your mouth like soup. You can't miss at Lucina's.
Overall we enjoyed dining at Lucina's and we look forward to returning. We really enjoyed the paella, which was dense with lots of goodies and better than other paellas we have had in Denver. We also enjoyed the chocolate guava desert and the moqueca that was basically a fish curry. Didn't really enjoy the ceviche to be honest; just didn't work for us. Otherwise fantastic and we will eventually be back to try some new small plates and get the paella again.
Lucina is one of my favorite Denver restaurants! Ryan, our server, was amazing and attentive, the food was absolutely great! Additionally, I have celiac and Lucina is always so careful with the food prep. I have never had a reaction from eating here. I highly recommend Lucina's!

Everything was good not great. Cute place, nice vibe and good service. Unfortunately, of the 6 dishes and 4 cocktails we had, there wasn't anything that we felt we would order again (other than the Diego's Cup cocktail) or “have to come back for”.
Lucina had been on my list for years after hearing rave reviews from friends. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The cocktails were underwhelming and arrived after we'd already received three dishes—an odd pacing issue. The food was decent but nothing memorable. I'm glad we finally checked it off the list, but I wouldn't recommend it and won't be returning
Food was amazing! Love the shareable menu so you can try lots of different things. Service was great
A denver gem
Happy hour is a good time to share delicious food and exchange conversations in an intimate setting. Order everything, especially the salad.
