Came here twice now for a work trip and let me tell you , this place is amazing for authentic Mexican street food . Had the pleasure of having Shannon as our server and she is exceptional! Steak tacos are phenomenal. Guacamole and chips with the sauces are a must! If you’re in downtown Denver and you’re craving Mexican this is the place

The tacos are expensive $5-$6 each but they’re a good size. If I eat 4, I’m rolling out of the restaurant and not walking but 3 leaves a bit to be desired if you don’t get an appetizer. The put an Americanized twist on tacos so don’t expect authentic Mexican tacos but still delicious and unique.

Perfect place to stop while waiting for my Train at Union Station. Happy Hour is incredible deal. Service is top notch. Tacos are all amazing.
Service was great, the atmosphere was great, I loved the decor! I ordered a quesadilla, it was delicious but seemed a little small for the price. Great drinks, okay food, solid service! We were visiting from Austin (so my standards for Mexican food are pretty high) and stopped in to Machete before an Avs game. We were seated and greeted quickly, offered drinks and chips & salsa (which you have to pay for...). Our margs were quite good - we tried the monthly special and the house and both were tasty and boozy! Our party of three each ordered tacos: Arrachera (excellent!), Al Pastor (good) and Tinga (meh), as well as sides of rice and beans (decent). As we were leaving the restaurant had gotten pretty crowded and there appeared to be a wait (lots of Avs fans before the game) so I'm glad we went early! Definitely worth a stop for drinks and a lite dinner before a game or a night out.Parking: Parking is a challenge, for sure!
