Wow ..my husband found this place on TikTok 🤳🏾 and it looked so good, we decided to try it...being from the south, it is hard to find good food since we have been here😩...we decided to try the specialty machete with shrimp, arrahera (the tenderest and nicely seasoned steak) and rostizado (roasted chicken OMG😋)...they added lettuce and tomato on the side for us☺️ ..I forgot to take a before pic 🤦🏾but yeah😄... it was enough for my husband and I and I have a lot left for later but I guess I'll be nice and share 🙄

Ambience is a cozy vibe, lighting is really nice. The tacos are delicious. My friend really enjoyed the hibiscus marg. Happy hour was super enjoyable and the food was very good!

I would spend hours there hanging out with friends and even the staff, and everyone was so friendly, but the real reason why I kept going back where those crazy out of this world delicious tacos Now that I am sober I hardly ever go out but for these tacos, I will make exceptions.

$2 for muddle japs (this makes a spicy house margarita $17 which is INSANE. Are y'all trying to match Ball Arena's prices?) $1.50 chips/tortillas (apparently queso fundido does not come with any chips?) $2.60 equitable surcharge
Email: I stopped in for lunch today and had a few surprise items on my bill which was upsetting. At no point did your server advise us that we would be charged extra for the following: chips/tortillas that come with queso, jalapenos to make the marg spicy, or the additional 3.5% service fee. These items aren't listed as additional charges on the menu, she didn't notify us they'd be extra, and she didn't show us an itemized bill - straight to the tipping option after tapping our card. I would like a refund for those surprise items and would advise you to put them on your menu so others aren't surprised.

Machete Tequila and Tacos is a solid spot for tacos and margaritas in Denver. They offer a wide variety of options, and we especially like the shrimp tacos and classic margarita. The vibe is cool, with a fun interior. The patio, while near the road, is cute and has a fence for privacy. Service is quick and super friendly, and the chips with multiple salsas are a nice touch. It’s our reliable go-to for tacos and margaritas. They have a great happy hour deal for tacos and maragritas which I need to come back for.
Parking: There’s easy parking on the street or you can find something in the neighborhood

What happened to this place? In an area of Denver needing quality this isn't it. I ordered some food Togo. They forgot my rice. It took 10 minutes to get a to go container of rice. My food was cold by the time I could get back next door to Cerebral Brewing to eat it. People standing around like zombies, I think all they care about is slinging margaritas and happy hour beers. Maybe that's why it's dead tonight.
I was actually trying to go to the breakfast spot next-door when I stumbled into this place. I ended ended up ordering some amazing tacos with eggs on top. The food was so delicious and genuinely some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. In addition, they have these hand cut chips that are very thick and they come with four different types of salsa. All of the staff was very friendly and I definitely will be coming back.

Loved my experience here. Actually it was such a long wait at the restaurant next-door that I dropped in over here. My roast chicken quesadilla was delicious and very flavorful. Ordered a tequila sunrise with their blood orange juice. Everything was very good. The service was excellent. Sarah was my waitress and had no issue with adding avocado slices to the quesadilla or fresh cut veggies on the side. She was great!!

The food was ok, the chicken taco had no flavor whatsoever, but the quesabirra and arrachera tacos were good, just too many over the top toppings. Keep in mind that you're going to a celebrity restaurant so it is way overpriced. $15 bucks for a Marg is crazy! The service is really awful here too, our waitress only checked on us once after we got our food before bringing our bill.

Great Full taco's which is always important. They are very consistent with their menu items. Derrick was very friendly and attentive. Answering all of our questions concerning that it was my first time. They happen to have a wonderful patio outside with cute lights for a wonderful Colorado night out. Will definitely be back soon to get our Machete fix.
