Not many seafood choices in Denver, so I gave this rip off a second chance. First time I received only the 'extra order of lobster ' but not the main sandwich! When I called to complain, they said 'too bad, call the driver company, we don't take responsibility '. Tonight, after a late delivery (their text!) , the driver pulls up in the street of my high rise and refused to even come to the lobby! I watched him talking to his girlfriend in the passenger seat, not leaving his truck! When I went downstairs, he had the nerve to try and hold my paid for food (and HUGE tip/delivery) ransom saying 'do you want your food or not?!'. I grabbed the bag and asked him if he wanted to fight a 67 year old woman for her food and he reluctantly let go after seeing the security officer! Really?

I loved eating here and I was met with brilliant customer service who helped me decide on what to eat and the Lobsterado was amazing. It really made an impact and has me wanting to come back some day again to get some more. Big recommendation!

Some of the freshest lobster rolls we’ve had, and they give you a good amount of meat. It’s a mainstay for any Denver trip, despite this being far from the ocean. It’s just great. Fries are pretty good too.
I would recommend going before end of day if possible, though. We went 30 minutes before closing at 6:30pm and they were out of lobster.

This is hands down the best lobster place in town. The staff are also always great. The service is never lacking. A bit pricey, but for good lobster it’s totally worth it.

Down East Meal- 3oz lobster roll, small side of clam chowder, and a drink $40. $48 total with tip. First there wasn’t really anyone in the restaurant when I ordered. One 3 person group in front. Order took about 30 min. The clam chowder was probably the most watered down soup I’ve had. Seriously it tasted like 50% water mixed with 50% chowder mixture- barely anything in it. Chowder should be thick, not runny like a broth. Lobster roll was mid- had to ask for an additional side of butter cause it truly didn’t taste like there was any on it. It seems like this place is really trying to skimp. I wouldn’t normally mind as it’s a super casual joint expectations weren’t high, but for the price point it’s honestly a rip off

My partner and I ate lunch at Maine Shack today, and the whole experience was fantastic. The ladies working behind the counter were super kind and efficient and the food was to die for. I had the Lobster Grilled Cheese and it blew any expectations I had out of the water.

Fresh and delicious! I had a regular naked lobster roll, and the meat was tender and juicy. The roll was fresh and soft. The whole experience was wonderful from the first step in the door.
