Came here for lunch, got cocktails and tacos/chiliaquiles. Both food and drink were top notch. Great vibes, amazing food, and really kind and quality service.

Excellent food and service, surprisingly inexpensive. And Sydney made it so fun.
The food and drinks were super unique! We especially loved the Maíz drink with tejate, the rabbit tamalito and the taco truck out front! We’ll definitely be back

My husband and I visited for the first time this weekend, and were absolutely amazed. Definitely one of our favorite spots we’ve tried over our 3 years in Denver.

everything was amazing! tight squeeze but the vibes were immaculate. our server dani was phenomenal, very informative about the whole menu. we got the tuna and octopus dish and they both were amazing. my husband and I are from south florida and very picky about our seafood and the octopus was one of the best octopus dishes we have ever had. you can also order tacos from the truck outside, the al pastor was SO good! drinks were so well put together. we got the pepita and wasabi cocktail and they both hit the perfect notes. as a long time bartender I was incredibly impressed.

My boyfriend and I just returned from Zurich, freshly lamenting the hackneyed Denver nightlife endlessly regurgitated into gaping, soulless spaces with menus swollen with options but no heart. This isn't your typical Denver situation. This place is special.
Audiobars attempt to create a vibe, and Malinche undoubtedly delivers. It's intimate, inviting, thoughtful, and full of creative soul. I didn't realize that this town was capable of this level of nightlife nuance until now. Hopefully it catalyzes a revolution.

Great drinks. Incredible food. Helpful and attentive service. Pleasant ambiance. We were very impressed.
I’m deeply skeptical of fusion cuisine, but it was super well done. They do a great job of showcasing and mingling Japanese and Mexican flavors and ingredients.

Updating from my old review, the food is great now and the happy hour options are solid from 3-6pm. The chilaquiles from 11-3pm are fantastic and the tacos outside are amazing. Definitely coming back.

Loved the dark, cave-like vibe within cozy environs. They have Sotol as well as other tequila-adjacent spirits. The “Tomatillo” cocktail is definitely top of my list of unique drinks. Their Maitake al Copal dish will not soon be forgotten. The tuna was delicious but necessarily something that I will crave forever. Excited to come back for a full dinner and try all the items on their tight menu.

We have been to Malinche Audiobar now twice and both times were amazing. The first time was for dinner, we sat at the bar and were able to talk to the chef as our food was prepared. The second time was for their new happy hour. The food is delicious, the drinks are unique and tasty, and true to their name, the music is fantastic! We'll be back very soon!

Malinche Audiobar was amazing! The inside is intimate, reminding me more of a restaurant you would stumble upon abroad or in an older borough of NYC. We made a reservation for a table, and my only advice is if you have a party of two make the reservation for the high tops. We got sat at a two top right in front of the door, and it wasn't great on a cold night. Since they were booked up, we couldn't move.
The food and drinks are a fusion of Japanese and Mexican flavors and styles, and they are delicious. We did the Maitake al Copal for an appetizer, and my mushroom hating boyfriend LOVED it. It was cooked and spiced to perfection. There was also a taco truck out front that you can also order at, so we had tacos for the main. They were typical street size, so I reconned 2-3 if you get other things, more if you are only doing tacos.
For drinks, I got the Tomatillo. It had a light vanilla essence, but nothing to strong. Reminded me of Casamigos style mezcal. My boyfriend got the Epazote y Wazabi. The wasabi was also very light and complementary. I hate wasabi and enjoyed the drink.
Would definitely recommend for a date night or small group. Parties larger than 4 might feel a little cramped.

Just like previous comments, seating is uncomfortable and I felt like I was at a nail salon. This restaurant just wanted to cramp people in this tiny restaurant and prioritize getting in and out people every hour. We didn’t have a reservation so they told us we only had 1 hour. Cool, we understood, but when our server came in 10 before the hour was up, she asked if we wanted to order another drink. We were told we would be given more time to enjoy our drink and the meals we had ordered that we were still eating. Horrible experience and really not an audio bar.
I was there for the experience they are supposedly selling of being in an audio bar but they just had music you can listen on the radio.
Overpriced food and drinks. Jam packed seating that makes you feel like you’re in a sardine can.

My guess is Michelin star is coming to this place. Come visit before the prices go up. The food was interesting, flavors mixed together in ways I’ve never had before. Interesting they names this place an audiobar, when the food is the shiny star of this place. The maitake was my favorite, followed by the octopus. I really love all the Mexican dishware they used. Music was fantastic, lots of good selections. Kudos on disguising all the sound proof in the restaurant as decoration. You can tell à lot of thought went into designing this restaurant, they made a lot of use with so little space. Drinks were great, but it wouldn’t be the thing I come back for.

Been a couple of times, and it's been great! The space has a chill, rustic vibe that invites nuanced sensory indulgence on every level and menu selections demonstrate great attention to all the elements, including contrast and context - shout out for the gluten free accomodations on the menu. And if you want to keep it easy, grab some tacos from the truck out front. Agave fans will not be disappointed, nor will audiophiles... Everything happens at just the right pace to fully saturate without being overwhelmed. And for all the old-schoolies, this place vibes like the old Platte Street jazz clubs and coffee shop days of yore. Not sure if Wabi Sabismo is even a term that makes sense - but if you catch the gist, this is it. We'll be back for sure!
