I recently had the delightful privilege of celebrating my birthday at this café--as a long-time aficionada of Ethiopian cuisine (and having wanted to try this restaurant for a few years, ever since my brother and I spotted the sign from the street while driving down Leetsdale). The ambiance was lovely, quiet, beautifully and understatedly, tastefully decorated, with a couple slightly movable screens of sorts that rendered our table at the back of the restaurant somewhat sequestered/sectioned...

Mama Africa exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional—our waiter was not only prompt and attentive, but also had a calming presence that made the experience feel almost spa-like.
