Everything we had was delicious but the Bustiate pasta was exceptional - smoked almond pesto and burrata on fresh pasta was over the top good. Cozy, atmospheric setting in a brick walled building made for a great date night out.

The closest thing to this experience is when we dined at Wolf's Tailor. The food here was better as was the service. And the price is better too. Highly recommend if you are looking for an amazing date night and some good conversation as the dinner does take 2.5-3 hours.

Coperta was exceptional in every way. The Restaurant Week menu was creative and absolutely delicious. One of the best Ragu/Bolognese dishes I have ever had. Our server was wonderful, attentive and so knowledgeable. And the ambience. Truly felt like we were in a wonderful trattoria in a village in Italy. What a wonderful evening, in so many ways!

We reserved a table for Denver Restaurant Week and we were very excited. We've lived in uptown for years and haven't tried it. We were sadly disappointed by the meals and the cost of them. We spent $200 and it did not feel worth that whatsoever. Our server was wonderful and she was on top of everything. She was a delight.

This was our best meal in Denver and we've lived here over a year. We love Italian food and I feel like they actually did it right! I think the food was reasonably priced, authentic and delicious. They make the service charge very clear, and the service was worth the price, so much that we tipped on top. I would love to see them do date night specials, half priced wine, or something on weekdays, but ultimately we will be back! All the pastas were spectacular, and the cookie dough gelato was amazing! The carbonara was salty (as it is authentically) so if you tend to find things salty in general, I would opt out. But it was my favorite item!

We went to Coperta specifically for restaurant week. I was very excited for this one as it's been a restaurant on my radar for a while. I was pretty disappointed with the overall food I was served. Each course felt like a salt bomb and the primary flavor profile for each item I received: Roman Street Fritter (if there was garlic in this like advertised, I'm shocked. I couldn't taste anything else but salt), Cacio e Pepe (I expected this to be salty, but this was way past the normal saltiness level with this dish), and the Pan Roasted Pork Shoulder (probably the least salty of the three, but no other discernible flavor and slightly over cooked.) The sorbetto was unavailable but the olive oil gelato was passable, though not my personal cup of tea. The portion sizes did not feel worth the $45, especially given the caliber (or lack thereof) food. Had each dish had complex and well-prepared flavor profiles, I'd change my tune, but that wasn't the case. Overall, pretty disappointed by the offerings here and I doubt I will return.

My husband and I dined in for brunch. He ordered us the 2 egg breakfast: sausage and potatoes were good, eggs were just eggs with toast the bacon was good also. The brunch pasta carbonara was not good, the dish tasted stale the pasta itself tasted like it sat in a box for a long time. That fruit bowl was not worth the price even though it was only $4 dollars, four pieces of pineapple and a large strawberry cut down the middle, which was the best thing we ordered besides the pour your own mimosa. But the service was great, thanks to Kyle.

Five of us went for a Saturday brunch to celebrate an anniversary. They gave us each a small glass of champagne, and brought a little special treat of french toast bites. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were as well. Try the chai espresso martini! The atmosphere was quaint, the service was very attentive but not clingy. This spot is a small town gem.

One of our faves, humming along as well as ever. On a recent visit we had the new octopus carpaccio and roast pork shoulder - both were exceptional. Great to see half-portion pastas back too. We're actually fine with the 23% service charge. It saves some math, the servers always earn it, and (importantly) it is calculated pre-tax -- as tips should be but rarely are. This is a trend we're seeing more of, and it is not necessarily a bad thing. The all-Italian regional wine list is awesome, and servers are knowledgeable about the offerings. Only minor quibble I have is that the cocktail program could use some attention. Batched Negronis and Boulevardiers are nice enough, but stemware, cocktail sizes, and garnishes could all use an upgrade. The bartenders and staff seem very capable of handling a more refined service.

A very excellent dining experience from top to bottom. You can’t find anything else like this in Denver - we will be back for many more!

Enjoyed the foccacia. The chickpea fritter was a bit too salty for my liking. My pasta was pretty salty and the pairing was a bit odd (brussel sprouts and grapes with oxtail). The sprouts weren't cooked evenly. Cocktails were pricy given the size of the cocktail glasses.

Excellently prepared dishes. Perfect over easy eggs, crisp home fries and on-site made sausage. Plus my wife enjoyed rich rigatoni carbonara. And great service and conversation with Kyle the bartender.

We don't really venture out too far away from Boulder County, but Coperta is definitely our GO TO for dinner in Denver. They have never disappointed us! We brought our very good friends (both very big foodies and one also happens to be a sommelier) and they were impressed! We started with the ENDIVE+RADICCHIO SALAD. Lots of texture and flavor - perfect for the 4 of us. The kitchen and bar brought us goodies. With our antipasti - squid ink pasta w/ artichoke (pasta was cooked perfectly and very simple - olive oil and salt. Balanced! ) and from the bar, some nice bubbly. We all shared bits of the Primi and Secondi. I always order the POLLO ALLA DIAVOLA - crispy, tender and full of flavor. The fellas ordered the Valentine's Week special - Short Rib w/ Risotto - they were both raving about the intense flavor and tenderness of the meat. My other go-to is the CAVATELLI RAGU - always delicious, tender and perfect for sharing. Our friend ordered the FETTUCCINE w/ bay scallops, capers - oh wow, what an infusion of flavors. For dessert, we had the POTATO GRISPELLE (if you like churros, these are 100x better!) and the Valentine's day Tiramisu special. Delicious. I don't know much about wine, but our friends mentioned that our server (Cade?) gave them a nice recommendation (the Montepulciano) to go with all of different proteins and pastas. All in all, awesome as usual. Thank you!!
