This is my new favorite restaurant in Denver. The food was an incredible whimsical journey. It was delightful and fun and just plain made me smile with the different flavors and textures. What a delight! Service was also kind and thoughtful. I cannot wait to come back even though I just left.

We went for my birthday yesterday and the food was simply delicious...Everything was incredible, very tasty, unique, great taste combination...The chefs were all very nice and you could see the passion in them. The waiter/sommelier did a fantastic job on the wine pairing, it was perfect. Thank you for having us.

Some people go to art galleries and look at the art, I go to art galleries and eat the art! What a creative and artistic experience!

Went for the 12-course tasting menu. Incredible all around. Pacing was great. Service was perfect for a chefs table - quietly replenishing things but otherwise out of the way while you focus on the experience. Brief interactions with Chef Justin provided insight into some of the dishes. Lots of truly beautiful, memorable bites. And, having spent a couple hours behind the scenes watching dishes go out to the main dining area, it's clear the same attention to detail is shown across all menus. Looking forward to trying the 5-course or à la carte options next time!

We tried every single item on the menu with a group and everything was absolutely fantastic. The steak tartare was my favorite. Our server had such a nice way about him and made the experience that much more fun. Can't wait to come back!

We came here for my husband’s birthday last weekend, and we will definitely return very soon. The staff were all very warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was so lovely. It was lively yet chill enough where I can sit for 2 hours and have an engaging conversation while eating amazing food and tasting delicious wine. We had the five course pre-fixed option and the food was impeccable. We will return and try the à la cart option too. I find it so hard these days to find a spot that I’d want to keep going back to, but thankfully we found this gem. We will be returning!

Unfortunately for the price point, there are better restaurants of this caliber. We did the tasting menu and while it was highly unique, we also found it to be heavily salted. We really wanted to like the Parisian Gnocchi and even the homemade Brioche, but the gnocchi was heavily oversalted and the brioche wasn't spectacular either -- I've had better bread at a steakhouse chain. Cornet and oysters were unique and good, but not in a way that blew us away either. Our favorite part in the end was likely the dessert (toffee pudding with brown sugar ice cream), but even that was overwhelmingly sweet in its final bites. Pork loin was very nicely cooked, but again for the price point and the hype that Margot has it fell flat.

For a Michelin star restaurant, I'd expect much more delicate, balanced flavors. Go spend your money at Kizaki or Alma Fonda Fina or Sushi Den or Wildflower instead.

was so disappointed in the food. we were so excited to visit only to be very unimpressed with the food and the lackluster wine list..even the watier agreed the wine was not great. Do better with the award your received.. prices should match the food.

The best dining experience I have had in Denver. Compared to the other tire winning restaurants, this is by far our favorite and cannot recommend it enough!!!!

Niche review: Not a great option for the gluten free community, so can’t speak to the majority of their dishes. I liked some of the dishes I tried, but the modifications they attempted (thank you) created non-Michelin tier plates unfortunately; good or fine, definitely edible, but not star tier. The quail was good and the crudo was also solid, but I can’t even remember most of the other 10 dishes (from a month ago), so that says it all really. Well, I remember the ones we didn’t enjoy, but I’m not here to trash them. They basically didn’t have a way to include the crunch factor into the gluten-free experience, which they rely on. My intention is simply to say to the gluten free people: Beware, it might be sub-par. Hopefully they become a little more gluten-free friendly in the future. Also, a posted a la carte menu online would be great…

Does the public know what real gnocchi is? Pray tell what those chrysalis-like abominations in the boxes are at the grocery store.

From candied seaweed fish ice cream cones to a petite quail laid upon a bed of pickled carrots for its final rest, Margot provided some good bites. We were very eager to try the newly awarded Michelin star menu but we did forget to bring our crossword activity books. I can only imagine the pain of sitting through this endeavor with a bad Denver Hinge date gazing back at you with that quadruple-vaxx stare.

The dining room interior is constructed of Japanese-style wood paneling and a bar backsplash of naturally rugged rock. The vape shop-esque tube of neon lights along the bar did wonders to impose the longstanding Canadian tradition of Diwali here on Pearl Street.

Strangely, the entire staff except for the head chef, bartender, and the aloof HR-looking lady at the front who was not in uniform, seemed scared. Like they just found out their head chef was packing a rat under his hat but all the traps had been set the night before.

I liked the dishes but the service was a bit strange. Also, is there a way to install cubicles in here? Holy decibels.

PS. To the mediocre people of Denver, for the love of God, can you please wear real clothes when you leave the house? You guys make us all look bad when you wear head to toe polyester.

Margot Denver deserves an award for the worst Michelin star tasting menu. Only three out of the twelve tasting menu dishes were “very good” — everything else was mediocre at best. The wine pairing was an absolute disgrace and candidly — offensive — to anyone who knows anything about wine (we were served white wine with Wagyu and red wine with scallops… not to mention the wine glass was re-used and not cleaned out when changing the wine). It was also difficult finding the restaurant as there is no signage, plus it shares the building with another restaurant. This place is a scam for the price you pay. Save your money and choose to go somewhere else unless you’re looking for an underwhelming and disappointing experience.

Another welcome fine dining spot in Denver . Probably second favorite to Wolf’s Tailor but definitely a clear Michelin experience.
