Maria Empanada - South Broadway

I randomly was in the area and stopped by. I dedicatedly wasn't disappointed by what I purchased. I bought a pack (I forgot the number.lol) I basically had empanadas for lunch that weekend. :)

I stopped at the new airport location for a breakfast bite at Maria Empanada. They had a broad selection that was well tailored to the diverse clientele at the airport. It was a quick serve type location and we found the service both friendly and efficient. The food was good and appropriately priced for an airport location. Kudos for not forcing a tip like some other places do. We did tip but we appreciate being able to make that choice ourselves. The food was filling and perfect for moving through the airport. A good experience and great to see a local business succeeding here as well.

Whenever I arrive in Denver to visit my daughters, my obligatory place is to eat the empanadas of MARIA EMPANADA, there are no others the same. I recommend...

Went here for dinner with my son and grandson. You have to order at the counter, there is seating available. My favorite empanadas were the beef one and the mushroom one. My son liked the Argentina and my grandson liked the breakfast chorizo. We also got pastries- we got a 6 pack of Alfajores. The traditional was the best with berries & chocolate being second. I also got a churro which would have been better if it was arm. I'm sure we'll be back.

Great empanadas, and you always get Argentina's World Cup win, playing on a loop. Fun.

I have been a customer of Maria Empanada for over a decade, since its original location on Morrison Rd. The food at Maria Empanada is amazing!!!…as long as it is fresh. There continues to be inconsistencies with their quality. Often if you go early in the day, you will purchase day old food and the difference is quite noticeable. Today was no exception. I got medialunas and they were disappointingly stale and the empanadas more toasted aka from yesterday. This is my go to and i wish it was consistently good.

My husband wanted to stop here because this restaurant was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I see why! Both workers I talked to were very welcoming and the 2 empanadas I had were delicious. I also really like how they are labeled, so you remember which is which.

Absolutely phenomenal! Food and atmosphere! The world cup is on as Argentina is playing Chile...a huge rivalry! To have the crowd here singing for their country's soccer team and national pride is soo beautiful...

The best empanadas in town! Be sure to try the marsala pear. Life changing!!

So awesome! We are so lucky to be locals. The empanadas are out of this world - tasty , warm and fresh . The restaurant is smartly decorated and the staff is so friendly . What a local Denver gem . I highly recommend visiting this cute establishment if you want delicious empanadas and delightful desserts . Wow - so glad I stumbled upon this place one evening .

I ordered a pick-up order.The order was ready on time and was piping hot. The Empanadas were spectacular, and the dough they use is phemoninal !! The reason for 3 stars on service is that the person was distracted elsewhere and dropped the cookies, and they were broken in the bottom of the bag. Overall, I am highly satisfied and so happy with food. Parking at the Broadway location is not good and hard to find a spot close to the shop
