Maria Empanada - City Park

We were very excited to see this place and try a variety of empanadas for the first time. They had quite a few to choose from as well as desserts. Tasty empanadas but I guess they didn't have any sauces, or they didn't offer them to us. My daughter thought hers were very dry tasting.

Seating is outside only. No drink refills or table service. This wasn't a problem for us, but I wanted to point this out for the review.

I went to the Colfax location for the first time. The empanadas are great. The beef one has a lot of meat, the María is perfect

I had high hopes because of the hype but was a little disappointed. I tried a few and it was pretty expensive for a twelve pack. My favorites were the beef and the corn. I might have rated higher if I thought they were a good value, but the quality didn't match the price, in my opinion.

Maria empanada had a booth at gay pride today so I bought a beef, chicken and a chorizo. All of them are excellent. I knew I would eventually find a place that had good empanada, thank goodness there’s one really close to where I live.

Eat here, often. I'm glad they keep expanding. This location has some outside tables, but no inside.

Got my dozen this morning! 10/10 spectacular, and the sauces are SO GOOD! Can’t wait for warm days on the new patio, looks amazing, great job Maria Empanada!

We are so excited that Maria Empanada is finally open!! 😁 We got a dozen Empanadas and it was so good. Highly recommend Breakfast Chorizo, Ham & Cheese, Argentina, and Sierra with sweet chili mayo. The Strawberry Dragon Fruit drink is really good . We will be back especially since it is close to home.

We had 4 coupons for a free empanadas. there are 4 of us and I had 4 coupons. coupon states 1 per person per transaction. I called before I came and was told I could use 3 . I arrived and I'm assuming the manager/owner said I could only use 1. He was incredibly rude and hateful despite me explaining that I had called in advance and drove out here and was told something different. He responded, " Well, I say no"... super rude. We love empanadas but will NEVER visit here again simply because of the rude and haughtiness from the owner.
