What a cool bar. One of their ads is a poster, "Missing Cheap Drinks in RiNo - last seen on Thursday nights at the Matchbox." I went on a Tuesday night and the drinks were still cheap! Their HH runs daily open to 8pm. Wells are $4 (unheard of anywhere in the area). They also have delicious infused shots such as Green Tea, Spicy Pickle, and Horchata for $9. Super friendly bartender with a laid back clientele. Will definitely come back.

Literally the most racist and discriminating bar I've ever been to. Went to watch the game and the only 2 black people get kicked out for no reason. When asked the reason the bouncer just said complaints. They're very rude and disrespectful.Normal backwater bar, with terrible service.Their Management never replies because they're scared of real complaints. When you call they won't even pick up the phone. But I used to do reviews for a living and can genuinely say the place isn't worth the time or the effort.

They were very rude. Literally kicked black and mixed people out for no reason despite doing literally nothing. The only 2 black people got kicked out tonight and honestly I'm a pretty respected member of the community which is weird. This review is not a representation of my employer or company and my opinion. Honestly considering sueing for discrimination. Open to communication if you are open to that. Just moved to the neighborhood recently, popped in for a happy hour on Wednesday and the tall handsome gentlemen working had the best recommendations for drinks and also food in the neighborhood. Amazingly cheap beer and shot combos and cheap drinks all around, 10/10 recommend for a bar in this neighborhood.

Unbelievable rude throughout the night. The staff they had there on a Wednesday was to the outmost disrespectful to my friends and I. After buying and tipping multiple rounds of drinks i tried to play wonderwall the song. Although the song is in the least in appropriate they decided to skip it and tell me “they can do what they want”. How unbelievably rude and inn affectionate after buying and tipping drinks all night. This place is one of those worst places I’ve been to in Denver and wouldn’t recommend anyone going here. What a terrible experience this was for my family and friends.

For a place that says “don’t be a dick” it’s kind of the opposite. I wouldn’t have tipped, but they couldn’t close me out. So I guess I’ll just send the chargeback because it wasn’t nearly what I ordered…. Also reading other reviews, I stood next to a woman I didn’t know and she asked for a straw and was denied and waved off and now I see that the staff being drunk and unprofessional is a common thing, not just a random chance.

I’ve never been to a more unprofessional establishment in my entire life. I walked in to this place with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon around 3, hoping to have a few drinks. We walk up to the bar and find that there isn’t a bartender, we figure they’re busy so we wait. 5 minutes go by, 10 minutes go by, 20 minutes, until finally someone emerges from their basement and goes up to another group who had walked in a few minutes before. The bartender gives them their drinks and then proceeds to have a conversation with them, meanwhile it’s been nearly 30 minutes since we arrived and we still had yet to be acknowledged. I ultimately get fed up and approach the gentleman only to be told to “wait my turn”. My friends and I left this place infuriated and walked a block down to the much superior Meadowlark where we were attended promptly and politely. If I had any advice to give, go to Meadowlark instead.
