Came during lunch hours. Service was excellent (polite, fast, friendly) and the food was even better. The pricing is super reasonable to the portion size.
And, most of all, the vibe of the place is so cool and chill. Absolutely worth the visit!

First time ever coming here and I love Me some soul food. We originally from Pennsylvania/Philadelphia and we know soul food. Plus my daughter runs a soulfood catering business but I must be honest......

The waiter is fast and friendly which is a blessing. The food is cooked outside in the food truck and brought in which is kool with me but the problem I had was everything was spiced up with to much pepper in the gravy over mashed potatoes, the catfish very salty, and sweet potatoes tasted just like cinnamon just very sweet and the green beans salty

We paid $127.00 food bill $125 with a $2 tip and I'm hurt because my daughter, my grands and myself told the waiter the problem and he hurried to my husband to get the payment than said sorry payment is already done.

So, I asked for the owner to explain my situation and his attitude from the door was offensive and rude talking. My daughter recommended this place because she tried other items from their last location and he had the nerve to say why did you try this and that today but you got to try to see if you like something.

The only thing that was on point was the Mac and cheese and he replaced all the sides we had problems with wirh Mac and cheese and like he stated. The Mac and cheese was just made so he knows it's good.... All sides are $5 per side

We ended up throwing away everything even the juices for my grandbabies because stuff was floating. Seriously, you got to be able to deal with the public with respect and understanding.

How do you expect a 1, 3, 7, 8 and 12 to love salty mashed potatoes. My God we all have bad days but to be aggressively smart talking a customer/customers is not okay. We weren't trying to eat for free but we wanted good food. Most restaurants would have recooked the fish with less spice and/or given some kind of discount.

Now I see the owner gets smart in person and here on reviews but you do not even have to reply back because we will not be back but I do wish and pray things get better. Especially your attitude when something is wrong. You need all the customers to support. I do have videos and pictures from walking in until leaving with everything if the owner wants a copy.

First time visiting Colorado this weekend and decided my son, my friend, her husband & I could try some soul food. We got there around 6:15/6:30pm (we were told it just opened) we placed our order and there wasn’t any Sweet Yams ready or cornbread (which we was told it comes with your meal). We were dining in but our food came in a to-go boxes. All of the food was nasty I threw it in the trash. The guy barely came to refill our water. I’m so disappointed in that experience, especially for that price!

This food made me want to slap my mom…lo. I was visiting from Michigan and the customer service and food was THE BEST! Pork chops, greens, neck bones, friend chicken… just to name a few! You have to try it.

Wow, food is soooo good ! And seasoned. I got the catfish, greens, macaroni, and yams. Pound cake and peach cobbler. Everything was good and hot. The lady that took my order was very kind. Only thing is I like my yams super sweet. Mattie yams aren’t really sweet but they still are good

Honey Hot Wings & Cat Fish were so delicious & quality. Good cuts & size of meat - fried perfectly. The greens/cabbage side had excellent flavor. Mac & okra were done well & really needed their house hot sauce (smoky & mild kick). Cool evening lounge vibe - dark lighting, blue LED, & sparkly accents. Probably a great place to be Fri or Sat night. DJ booth & little dance area. They do take out, dine in, & have a food truck. Good for the Soul Food!

The food was really awesome however the service was awful me and my girlfriend arrived at 1:00pm this was our first time location opened at 12:00pm and the waiter had to verify what they were out of and out the game they were out of Yams.. Which was understandable however the big issue comes from the 1 hour and 15 minute wait for the food. When asked about if the food comes with cornbread the waiter stated she doesnt know if they have cornbread it'll come out and if they don't theyre out. Seems likes there a communication issue or maybe a meeting needs to be setup prior to opening to understand what they have available.
