I come to this gallery regularly; it's a well curated and accessible place. They offer penny admission for denver residents on the first Saturday of every month, and host fun parties and events. The cafe is nice for a rooftop drink in the afternoons.
GREAT small contemporary art-focused museum in a walkable area. Three floors with three separate solo exhibits which change regularly. The Cleon Peterson and Rodriguez-Warner exhibits were both excellent. Fourth floor has a very nice rooftop terrace with small drink cafe- interesting desert planting, skylights to floors below to walk on, and the mirror wall was a fascinating selfie opportunity for visitors. 5/5 would museum again. The events at the Denver MCA are always great! I enjoy the chill nights with music on the roof, crafting workshops, three things presentations, and evenings learning from the artists about their work while creating something myself. The art exhibits themselves span a wide range of styles which means my experience at the museum for each exhibit is unique causing my view of contemporary art to continue growing and changing.
