I love this pizza. Went twice in the two days that I was in Denver.
I've heard about Mellow Mushroom for a long time and we finally ate here. It did not disappoint! They have a good beer selection and the BBQ Chicken pizza was delicious! We'll definitely be back!
I'm not impressed. Came, tried, will not repeat. Esp for the price!
One of the most iconic restaurants in Denver if you ask me. There's a good reason it survived the big closing of the 16th Street Mall. Top quality gourmet Stone cooked pizzas, with a fun zanny neon hippie aesthetic. Well, it's no longer unique to our city that has in no way reduced its quality.
I usually order my pizza from here and don't stay too long so I can't give you a good sense of how noisy or crowded it can be. However, It's a large glass window Make it perfectly simple to just peer in and see if it's busy.
Their mascot is such a cultural icon. I seen him on snowboards and bongs alike.
The pizza was delicious! I love that they have vegan cheese. The pepperoni and sausage were very fresh. The crust was cooked perfectly - not burnt. Great job!
Great pizza. Gluten free options. The servers are chill, and no hovering, which I personally like. I have been to the MM in Asheville NC, and I gotta say I was disappointed to walk in to the Denver location and not see the atmosphere be more vibrant and immersive.
Hella good food, Hella cool people working here, just come and spend your money here, it's worth it
Great food & service. Very good for catering as well!
I've been to quite a few Mellow Mushroom locations and Denver did not disappoint. I had the cheesy bread, honey sriracha wings, and the mighty meat pizza. All of it was fresh and delicious. Katie offered excellent service and the vibe was chill as expected. Their pizza is so good!!
Great experience! It was really cozy sitting next to the kitchen on a super cold night. Excellent friendly and attentive service. Food came out in about 10 min: Wine, Pizza, and Salad. Small pizza (4 slices) was perfect for two with a large salad. We had the VEG pizza and it was chock full of veggies and the crust, wow! I can't really describe it, puffy, but with a slight crisp and plenty of texture. Your teeth kind of sink in to the heaven of it all. The sauce (and it's liberally spread) is so flavorful and is a nice thick texture. Greek salad had olives, two kinds of hot peppers (not spicy though), cheese and veggies. House dressing was really zingy, too. Pinot grigio wine was very good. Nice touch having the red pepper flakes on the table, too!

Pizza was excellent. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was great.
We went for lunch. We got pizza by the slice. It was a little slow to get the food, but we were there at 11:30am, so they had to make the pizza. It was great food. Very reasonable prices for lunch. We fed 4 people for under $25!!
Cute and a little trippy with the lights, they were busy so it took a bit but once we got the food it was AMAZING. VERY GOOD PIZZA. DELICIOUS!!!
Best pizza place in the country. Everytime I come to Denver I eat here. Katie was our server last time and she was great!
The chicken and gf crust were, unfortunately, flavorless. I was hungry and looking forward to a savory pizza, but this did not come close to being satisfying. They got the order right, but I didn't even taste the buffalo sauce. The best part was the friendly door dasher.
