Mellow Mushroom Downtown Denver

The chicken and gf crust were, unfortunately, flavorless. I was hungry and looking forward to a savory pizza, but this did not come close to being satisfying. They got the order right, but I didn't even taste the buffalo sauce. The best part was the friendly door dasher.

Had the same, amazing quality pizza from other Mellow Mushroom’s I had been to on the east coast which is the most important part. The interior and atmosphere however were very not mellow and it does not compare to other Mellow Mushrooms art and interior design. Parking is pretty bad but definitely worth it for the Holy Shitake pizza!

Usually a solid option for pizza delivery but they fell far short tonight. Delivery time was close to 2 hr with a predicted time of 45 min leading to a predictably cold pizza. The side of ranch was nowhere to be found. We additionally ordered the Enlightened Spinach Salad which is billed as spinach, dried cherries, diced apples, house-made glazed pecans and authentic sheep’s milk feta cheese. We received a bowl of spinach, apple slices and a side container of mozzarella cheese. We'll likely order from them again but a Saturday night is perhaps not a night to do so.

The manager who helped me with my take out was extremely kind and accommodating with recreating a pizza they no longer have on the menu. Unfortunately, the kitchen staff did not follow instructions at all. I’m a vegetarian and half my pizza was loaded with meat, instead of veggies and pesto. Ended up having to toss it. Esp bummed because I was visiting from out of town and had been looking forward to this pizza (and it cost me $23 for a small)

Chill place downtown to grab drinks or pizza before a Comedy Works show. The bartender is always great, great drinks, and the pizza isn't bad at all. A little pricey, but it is what it is when you're downtown.

Overall a place I'll keep coming back to!

Didn't have the best experience. Food was delayed and "mixed up". Waited for mine until most of the table has already eaten. Gluten free pizza was terrible and didn't make it as I asked (with toppings). Service was very slow, even though we were only one of 3 tables. Very unapologetic about mix up.

The crust is amazing! I got the vegan pizza which was overall very good, but I think the vegan cheese could be swapped out for something that melts better, or even just negating the cheese altogether. Vegan cheese is a difficult one, so I never expect a "realistic" experience. But, maybe Mellow could upgrade to Violife or something more melt-y. Overall, really good and would eat again!

My favorite pizza place in the city. Great environment and the people working there are always so chill. Their pizzas are so good, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. From the pizza dough (I have gluten-free friends who I can safely bring here) to delicious sandwiches and apps. This place is great

Went in to get some recommended pizza, the hostess welcomed us, immediately sat us down and we were met by a very nice waiter who made us feel more welcomed and already making some great recommendations.
We chose the restaurant because we saw they had a vegan and gluten free pizza section. I ended up getting one of the classics which was a unique take on Hawaiian and it was really good!
The pesto sauce, how the cheese melted and stretched, and the breading was thin but still had thickness to it. The crust was baked to a soft crunchy crispy texture and the pizza overall flavorful. I tried my friends veggies pizza and it was also good but the other one won us over. Definitely would recommend for those on dietary restrictions, vegetarian, or vegan!
