We eat here about once per month, it's usually pretty good. Saturday night, as expected was busy and loud. The table tortilla chips were clumped together in a glob, oily and inedible. Shrimp taco had mushy shrimp, kinda gross so we picked those out. I ordered shrimp fajitas, they brought a shrimp quesadilla, which was actually good. The cucumber jalapeño margarita was spicier than normal. Strawberry shortcake dessert was super dried out, we had a couple bites but that was all. Talked to the wait staff about it. No attempt at service recovery, no visible restaurant leadership presence noted. Hopefully this was a one-off and not a trend.
Never disappoints. We were there on Valentine's and although the restaurant was completely packed and we were in a back section, service and food was impeccable as always. Gracias!
Good food and vibrant atmosphere. Service was excellent. Pricing on the higher end as opposed to a Mom and Pop shop.
First off, our server was incredible. Anything I had questions about she was all too happy to answer. The food was super good and fresh. The burritos are huge!!! I was an awesome place for a date night. It felt very “Californian” inside (if that makes sence). Trust me, in this case that a good thing!
I had a lunch meeting here with several colleagues and was thoroughly pleased. Our server Thomas was amazing and food was fast and delicious. I would highly recommend!
We love coming here - Thomas is always the best and gives the best recommendations! Jessica the manager stopped by to introduce herself too, which was really thoughtful. Always enjoy it here.
All of our food was delicious! Our waiter was lovely and so was everyone that helped us. The reestaurant was very nice and had a great vibe. Service was amazing and everything was amazing!
I used to love SOL Cocina when I lived in LA, so I was excited to try the Denver location, but the food just didn't hit the same. We had the shrimp fajitas and shrimp chile relleno, and both were pretty plain and lacking flavor. Kind of disappointing since I remember it being so much better in LA.
First time to dine here. The food was okay but not special in any way, for the price. I had one taco and a virgin margarita. My spouse had 2 tacos and a nonalcoholic beer. Our friends had a burrito and fish tacos, one drink each. We shared one dessert among 4 people. Our half of the bill was $95 before tip, which seems high for a casual Mexican restaurant. We won't return because there wasn't anything about the experience that would warrant a repeat. The staff were lovely and attentive, the highlight of the experience.
When the hostess walked us to our table, she stopped and said it still needed to be wiped down. When we were seated, we noticed a lot of crumbs still on the table and beneath the table was filthy. We wiped it ourselves and everything was fine, until we noticed that all of the menu's had food crumbs in them. This is unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. My son's food came out and it was the wrong item. Although the mistake was somewhat corrected, his food was late coming out and he had asked for the sauces to be on the side, but they were put on top. By then, it was too late as my wife and I had already finished 1/2 the meal. The food was excellent, however for the price, the other things should not have happened.

When this place opened years ago I wasn't impressed - I ended up coming back this winter and had a 180 experience. The food is fresh and good, service is friendly and consistent and for the most part is comparably priced w other restaurants of this quality and location. I really enjoy their menu and GF option. They have excellent drinks and the table side guac is fun. I
This experience is a prime example of how a business should NOT treat its customers. The food was average at best, the service was extremely slow, and they failed to stand behind their prices list in their menus! We order our drinks and I noticed a $15 tequila flight special on the menu, I order the flight and later the server came back and said “the flight is $55 dollars, not $15) SAY WHAT! I showed her the menu (please see the attached photo) that clearly showed the flight was listed at $15. She said, wow that is correct , let me check with the manager. She came back with the other drinks we ordered without mentioning the flight or the error. (Like I was just going to forget!) I asked her about the managers response and she stated that they wouldn't honor the price that is clearly printed in EVERY menu. Sorry.... That's it, really. Needless to say that his left a horrible “taste “ with me, I really wanted to walk out, but we had all trekked down to Cherry Creek, so we stayed and dined on the mediocre food and endured the extremely slow service. The manger never came by to apologize or address the problem issues. What horrible customer service! Save yourself the $$$ and go to Chipotle and receive better food and at least there you know they will stand behind their prices.
Always inventive, always evolving. Consistently delicious. Omnivorous, carnivorous, or vegetarian. You'll find something beautiful on the menu. Love this place.
Our dinner here was excellent. The staff was very attentive, the drinks were great and the food was even better. We will definitely be back to try more of the signature tacos.
Bartender was definitely backed up as well as the kitchen. Staff was friendly and accommodating Food was good, the experience was flat because of the wait
