Great local spot, with local ownership for generations. Fried steak (fresh avocado slice is heaven, squeeze bottle of salsa makes every bite perfect) tacos, breakfast burritos are my favorites. They employ locals needing work, hustle as best as possible, especially when people are hangry. Perfection isn’t ALWAYS fast (although usually fast), but it’s always delicious. I can’t say enough good things about this joint and I’ve been coming here for decades now. I’ve got our families next generation just as addicted to Mexico City as I have been for so long! Oh, and obviously…Some of my favorite green chili in town! Thanks for always filling our stomachs and hearts!Kid-friendliness: While it has a local dive bar feel, lunch/brunch/breakfast is always a welcoming atmosphere for kiddos. Kids meals or a la cart tacos is a safe bet to keep a smile on their faces.
A group of us were in Denver for a concert. A friend suggested trying this place. It was all good until one of our friends almost died while we were there. It was one of the scariest moments of all of our lives but all the staff was worried about was us paying our bill. It didn’t matter that our friend lost her color and had no pulse. They treated us extremely bad and we even heard them say get them their bill and get them out of here. Where’s the humanity here.? She ended up being ok. We paid our bill and left. The food we got to eat while there was very good but all of us were highly disappointed in the way we were treated.

They do not open when they say ,they don’t answer the phone ???
We were promptly seated and were recommended their famous fried tacos. We tried the steak and chicken options. The portion was MASSIVE even though it was only four tacos each dish. Each taco was huge! We were stuffed when we left. Service was friendly. Our chips and salsa was replaced promptly when ran low. Vibe was very casual restaurant with several TVs playing sport games. Would come back again for a quick bite and fun vibes!

Excellent tacos and authentic dishes. Good choice of specialty drinks (if they have the ingredients in stock). They have fantastic housemade salsa!

Revised 2-18 Sunday … had to change with more info and due to there reply that they don’t post ??♀️Went with family for birthday celebration and waiter was terrible he said he was new needs more training obviously ? he kept forgetting everything and only brought 2 waters for 6 people had to keep asking other waiters for stuff ? end of night we tried to divide ticket in 2 we got him so confused that he added several drinks that we didn’t even have OMG good thing I looked at ticket before paying and just an fyi if you divide tickets whatever number of people with you in party you both get charged a tip amount for that same number on both tickets we had 6 people and got charged for 5 on both tickets why idk ??♀️ finally just had them do one ticket after fixing the mistakes … so don’t split tickets just pay one time 20% mandatory tip Wth as the service was terrible not worth the $29 tip we left, tips should Not be part of the bill they should given if and how much the customer wants to give not Mandatory!! Should be given based on service and the service was terrible, I tip based on service! and it wasn’t even busy!! Will Not be going back as the tacos have changed to very greasy and burnt too much and not worth $19 for 4 tacos Wth is in those tacos is not worth it!! Taco trucks are way better … ?
