The person working the Saturday afternoon on 10/5 was clearly inconvenienced by needing to serve customers. Fast talking through a mask would have made it hard to understand except the only words said were “anything else?”. No hello or thank you. Didn’t use gloves to handle the cones (which I didn’t see until after all of my kids had started eating and at that point it’s whatever). The employee couldn’t get back on their cell phone fast enough.
Went online to look for contact info and saw that we paid a 5% Living Wage Fee for the “hardworking, non-tipped employees” … though there’s definitely a tip request box out and tip request on the payment screen.
I will never come back here and encourage anyone else coming through Union Station or walking past to stop elsewhere for a treat. Icecream is for moments of joy and comfort, so no customer should leave an icecream shop feeling ignored and frustrated.

Great ice cream here in Union Station. Staff were great, a good amount of options, and good atmosphere and ice cream. They handed me the wrong ice cream until I told them and they were extremely honest and polite. Still worth a stop here for ice before your train. Love the Lemon Meringue!

Don’t stop here go somewhere else we Ordered the toasted coconut and pineapple and it tasted nothing like coconut not a single shred of coconut just a banana flavor ice cream with pineapple. this ice cream went straight to the trash.
