The family and I were waiting for our light rail and we stopped into Milkbox to give it a try. This European style house made ice cream was amazing. They have 10 rotating flavors and even offer Boozy milkshakes. Single scoops are $5.50, doubles are $6.50 with 0.50 add ons. The only reason for the 3 stars was the customer service, it was a Wednesday but this guy definitely didn’t want to be there or smile. It could have been a bad day but the kids noticed right away from his attitude.
Nice place. Went with my family during our vacations. Ice cream selection is not too large, and they didn’t have regular flavors like vanilla or chocolate but it resulted in my daughter having to try something different and she actually found one she loved. The rest of us had strawberry 🍓 and we even repeated it.
I went in to order a milk shake at 6:30 pm. Their hours say they are open until 9 pm. I ordered a milkshake and the teenage boy that works there told me he had already cleaned out the milkshake machine. Two and a half hours before closing! So, no, I didn't get a milkshake.
Closed an entire 1.5 hrs before 9 and left with disappointed kiddos 🤡
We walked in just prior to closing and the folks working there were so rude and pushing people out. As I was waiting in line for ice cream, the man scooping ice cream, told me he would not serve me, so I left. As I’m standing outside writing this, the woman working there is slamming the doors and being an unwelcoming person. Enjoy your holidays folks.
Disappointing and over-priced! Not worth the stop.
The texture of the milkshake was so off. My shake visibly looked like a sourdough starter. It felt so weird when drinking. This milkshake “like” product is so highly processed and fake it doesn’t even resemble an ice cream shake. What blows my mind is they serve ice cream next to whatever this is. I would give 0 stars if I could. Oh and if it’s winter time be prepared to fight for a seat with all of the people waiting for a train.
Just stopped by for a vanilla shake. The staff, Isabella, made my experience. She was so lovely, patient, recommended adding strawberry, which was a perfect combination, and made my afternoon just a little bit better.
Nice employees with great flavors of ice cream. I got the pistachio and it was subtly sweet, nutty, and slightly bitter and very GREEN. Incredible!
A Sweet Surprise at Denver Union Station!
While passing through Denver Union Station, I was delighted to spot Milkbox Ice Creamery-and even more excited when I saw their lineup of unique and creative flavors. One in particular stopped me in my tracks: corn-flavored ice cream. I know what some of you may be thinking - corn... in ice cream? But it instantly brought back nostalgic memories from my childhood, so I had to give it a try.
Spoiler alert: it was incredible. Smooth, subtly sweet, and unexpectedly comforting. I was supposed to share it with my husband, but... let's just say he didn't get more than a bite.
This place is absolutely worth a stop if you're in the area. I'm already looking forward to going back and sampling the other flavors on their board. If you're into trying something a little different, Milkbox won't disappoint!

My favorite ice cream in all of Denver! Chef Kevin McCormick (the brains behind Baumé) is extremely talented and I’m so happy Denver can now enjoy his ice cream in addition to his pastries. The salted oreo is the best I’ve ever had!
Best scoops in Denver by a long shot.
Hands down the BEST ice cream in Denver! The flavors are unbelievably creative yet perfectly balanced — you can tell everything is made with care and top-quality ingredients. If you’re in Denver, skip the usual spots and come here — this is the ice cream shop that sets the bar. The banana pudding flavor SLAPS!!
I stopped by Milkbox Denver at Union Station expecting a sweet treat, and while the ice cream was decent, the experience was marred by the staff's attitude. The flavors were good, but the service was lacking. The staff seemed dismissive and unfriendly, which took away from the overall experience. For a trendy spot like Milkbox, I'd expect better-mannered and more respectful staff. Maybe it's just a bad day, but for now, I'm not rushing back. Hopefully, they'll scoop up some customer service skills soon!
