Perfect meal for a perfect night, as the night air in Denver cools, I was wanting a nice warm blanket while watching the sunset and this meal delivered that comfort I was looking for, will be back! We heard live jazz music and will definitely be back for that.

We love this place! Great food, laid back atmosphere and great music. The burnt ends are heavenly, as well as the catfish and shrimp. The portions are generous and enough to share. We had been here 3 times and they were out of peach cobbler each time. We mentioned this to Ty, the owner, and he went and baked us the most amazing peach cobbler that we have had in years. If your looking for a friendly, neighborhood place, look no further!

Loved the opened room space with live jazz it was comfortable and cozy, I ordered the catfish and shrimp with grits which was amazing they took song requests and each selection was a warm pleasant surprise to be performed perfectly,, great vibes,,great energy I’ll be back

I come from a long line of Illinois fish fryers I’ve cooked my fair share of catfish and I gotta tell you that I just got the best catfish I’ve ever eaten. Juicy with a crispy breading served with unique hot sauce. My wife is from Texas and she was thoroughly impressed. That tells you anything.

Easy 10 out of 10. This place should be 4.5 stars and above overall. We went on a Thursday evening my family of 4. It wasn’t too busy, very chill atmosphere. We got the Combo 3 shrimp, ribs, and catfish as well as a turkey leg, corn bread, okra, greens, and Mac and cheese . The food was delicious, I think the young people use the word “bussin”. Staff and Owner were very hospitable. We would definitely come back. Some people don’t understand the restaurant industry and ultimately anyone in any service capacity will never make EVERYBODY happy. Even Michael Jordan missed a free throw here and there and nobody is perfect. More people should give more grace if any restaurant just has an off night and also accept that every place isn’t going to fit your flavor profile. Overall, this place is great. This is your sign to give this place a try if you have not or even give it a second chance if the first was unsatisfactory.

Food was good but service was awful. No wait staff. Owner was trying to do everything himself and it wasn't working. We ended up leaving without the drinks we ordered. And it was soooo hot in there. Great entertainment though. I'd go back.

The owner Ty is a very welcoming person and the food is amazingly good. I smashed the shrimp dinner with collard greens, cornbread, and candied yams. Then I came back the next day and smashed the pork ribs, beef, ribs, and shrimp with the collards and cornbread as my side.

Finally a place I can get some catfish !!

Amazing atmosphere good live music.

This was my second time visiting the establishment. Never disappoints. Food......TOP NOTCH!! Local musicians did an Outstanding Job on stage. Definitely coming back.

This is our first time coming here, fabulous service, the atmosphere is amazing and the Jazz music is phenomenal. You get a ton of food for what you pay, we had so much left over. Fabulous place and the owner is so hospitable it's the home town feeling.
