This place was insane on a Saturday night. The clientele is not what I would want around a child...definitely not family friendly or good for a friends dinner where you want to hear yourself speak. The crowd was super trashy and annoying. The service was fine and the food was decent but we will be going elsewhere for sushi in Denver
Really the most fun and great Japanese food you can have. It's especially fun in the weekends. The staff and owners are amazing and make you feel appreciated there. I love food and this is top 3 places in Denver for me.
Always have a great time at Mizu Izakaya. Food and atmosphere are ideal. The nigiri portions may be a bit smaller than other places, but the quality makes up for it.
Atmosphere is nice with the indoor and outdoor options and decorations. We enjoyed the sashimi for it freshness and flavor. The rolls were decent.
This place was excellent what a gem, sushi was great, ramen was delicious, drinks and ambiance were good and the service was great. Highly recommend it.
Apps and drinks were really good however the sushi was almost inedible. It tasted like they salted all of the fish which is not something I have ever had before when eating sushi. Great place to grab drinks and apps but skip the sushi.
The restaurant itself was fun and lively. The sushi and cocktails we had were pretty average and overpriced.
I've been here about 4 times now. My first time was great, and each time since, the food has been dried out like it's been under the heat lamp for too long, or misleading in the menu description. For the price we paid, I expected a bit more quality. I could have gotten better at Hapa for half the price.
One of the best food and service experiences in Denver! Everytime I have been here the food and the service has been outstanding from beginning to end. The happy hour is also amazing. Love the hamachi and the ube margs. This is one of our favorite spots!
food was delicious. the whole dj thing they do at night and on the weekends is super weird so sit outside if you're wanting to have any kind of conversation without yelling across the table. overall a great place though!

Had a great date night dinner before a show at Ball Arena. Delicious sushi!! Very knowledgeable about gluten free options and substitutions. We will be back!
Techno music was very loud and difficult to talk and hear at the dinner table. Music choice Rand noise ruined the ambiance
Great location, customer service was great and the food was delicious. My only issue was that the soy sauce was extremely salty, but the fantastic food made up for it.
Seated promptly and very nice decor. Server was very good. He was very busy but attentive. Shishitos were good, furikake fries very good, buns were very good, sushi pretty good, sushi rolls very good except Dragon and Spider(over fried and too much Teri sauce), miso cod excellent, Dynamite sauce weak, fresh oysters were very good, salads were huge, should be shared. Overall it was a good experience but not very authentic Japanese.
Great spot in the neighborhood that suits a variety of tastes. Their happy hour menu has a good selection of both food and drinks, and is a great value. I ordered from both the happy hour and regular menu - the yuzu ube margarita and the Hokkaido scallops were the highlights for me. Their sushi selection has a nice combo of classic and inventive rolls, so there's something for every kind of sushi lover. The service was a little slow at the beginning but o think I may have caught them at a shift change - once I settled in my server was sweet and super attentive. Can't wait to be back!
