Mono Mono Korean Fried Chicken

I kinda of got blown away by their KFC wings. I sat down at the bar on a monday noon, i was the only one and thought this probably wont be good.Little did i know…The signature wings were perfectly fried, fat rendered out, crispy skin but juicy meat. Perfect blend of sweet and spicy, got enough kick for spice lovers and not going to kill people who cannot handle so much spice.I also ordered the rice cake, while rice cakes are slightly over cooked, plenty of fishcakes in it. And comes bubbly hot.Back to the KFC wings. Better than all the other KFC joints in the area (bonchon, vons, porklet). If you like KFC, try this place!!!

the nachos were fantastic. chicken was good service could have been a little bit better kind of slow we definitely had to ask for refills and ask to order. but the food was great atmosphere was good enjoyed it will return hopefully service will be better.

Best Korean fried chicken in the states I have had. Went to South Korea in 2018. I had the best fried chicken at the airport. I have been looking to find anything close to that, now 2022 this place is it. The secret sauce chicken is on point. Don't sleep on this place Best Korean fried chicken in Denver. John is the man, great service. The seasoned fries are great too!

Staff was friendly and the food was great. The portions were huge and we had to take two boxes home. both my kids liked everything we tried. we will be going back soon!

Mono Mono does a great job of satisfying those comfort-food cravings with a modern twist. Nowhere close to a fine dining restaurant but light years away from fast food - a restaurant segment with not a lot of 5-star options, in my opinion. Their fried chicken is delightfully crispy but also airy and nearly greaseless. They have Korean classics like kimchi and a plethora of Asian flavored along with more traditional options. They also have a full bar and small plate options if you’re looking for a place to grab drinks but want a little more food options than the other bars on Colfax. For Mono Mono’s niche, I think they have done a great job and my experience there surpassed expectations.

Pretty amazing fried wings. They come out hot and a little crispy on the outside, and moist and tender inside. There are a lot of sauces to choose from and you can get a mix. Pro tip - ask for a mix of the soy/garlic & spicy. I accidently ordered this when I wanted half of each, but they ended up mixing them together. Found out that our waitress loves the mix too so happy accident.We also ordered their fries, which have a delicious sweet/spicy powder on them, and their shishito peppers. All highly recommended. Service was prompt and friendly. Looking forward to going back and trying out some of their other flavors.

The chicken wings are like Crack! Perfect crispness. I got the hot & spicy and the teriyaki hot. Perfect amount of spice and not overbearing. The veggie boat came with a surprise of pickled diakon radish. Brawny was a super friendly and excellent server. I'll be back next time I'm in town!

Loved the wings! Crispy and flaky crust, just the right amount of sauce, meat is still tender. Both sauces are sticky and has a sweetness to it, but the Hot & Spicy stood out as a better balanced flavor than the Soy Galric

First time eating in here, though I have had delivery many times. I am obsessed with the kimchi fries and the corn cheese. Usually, my boyfriend and I will order 2-3 different dishes and share them. They have a good soju selection, love the lychee.

WOW. Best fried chicken we've had in memorable history. No seriously, we're going to dream about this chicken. Specifically, the two all-stars were the specialty wings and the drumsticks. The wings were crispy, saucy, and happily spicy (if you elect to go that route). The drumsticks were so crispy and juicy, I'm not ashamed to admit that I drooled out of my mouth when eating them. Shout out to our server Trey for answering our many questions and making quality recommendations, including the aforementioned wings, drumsticks, and definitely check out the soju. Aside from concerns about my physical health, I would otherwise eat here every single day.

My boyfriend was so excited to try this spot ever since it opened. He came home with a takeout order of various types of wings, kimchi fries, and my favorite childhood dish, corn cheese. Unfortunately, it was a huge let down from display to taste. The "Korean wings" were nothing different than some cheap dive bar wings. Small, tiny and nothing unique about the flavor, if anything BonChon or Olive BBQ chicken is much better in that realm. I had no hopes for the Kimchi fries, but my boyfriend is white so he ordered that. God that was gross. Corn Cheese was ok—mediocre at best.This place may satisfy some customers that are new to Korean street food, but it really isn't that special if you've tried other places. To me Little Beast right down the block was really something special, but they closed down recently.

We’ve eaten here and did takeout order. The takeout order were packed carefully for air ventilation to prevent soften the chicken wings. The chicken wings here are beyond excellent. The outside cooked to perfection with blended house’s sauce. We absolutely live the fire here, it got something sweet in it tasted so good. The veggie unlike BWW, it’s marinated and super crispy. We definitely coming here again. For those k-chicken fan, this place is up there with Von’s ;)

This place is SO good! The Soy Garlic wings and dumplings were perfect. The restaurant is immaculately clean and the management and staff are so very friendly and nice. If you haven’t tried Mono Mono yet, please give them a taste! #yummy #colfax #sogood #wings #friedchicken
