This was our first time at A5. Candidly it did not live up to the hype that I've seen online. What was done well was the steak and scallops. The vibe is relaxed, feels similar to wazee supper club that I wish was still open.
A5 is a tasty, fun steakhouse in Denver. The unique cuts of meat are delicious, and the supporting menu items rock as well. In addition, we had great service on a Saturday night.
Incredible food, chic but accessible atmosphere, impeccable service. The spicy NA cocktail was a surprise hit!
Prince please bring back the porch pounder lol there's 8 of us we always come here to eat and we really enjoy the food here but we were surprised that you took off the porch pounder from the menu I hope you see my review

The steak was amazing! The service was pretty slow. Took a long time to be asked to place an order and a long time to get our bill. Didn't see our server a whole lot after the food was served. Never got the sauces we paid for Togo with our leftovers. It was a good dinner and we will be back for the steak. The service could be better for automatically adding a gratuity.
Fantastic meal! I was not impressed with Denver's food until this meal, glad it was my last meal of the trip!
Always a great experience. The food and drinks are always on point. Amazing spot for celebrations or just treat yourself.
I wish I would’ve taken more pictures but honestly after my first bite, I couldn’t stop eating because every single thing that came out was so delicious!
Tip: GET THE BACON FOR YOUR APPETIZER🥹
The steaks were absolute perfection. We tried four different sauces and they were all exquisite, the roasted squash was mouthwatering, and they even gave me a little candle with their butter cake (which was delicious) for my birthday. It was the cutest!
I cannot wait to get back to Denver to go back here and I will 1000% recommend this to anyone who travels to the Denver area.

We had such a nice time at A5. We ordered the croquettes to start, shared a scallop entree and each tried a steak. The sauces (house and chimichurri) were so good too. Our server, Sarah, was knowledgeable, and the service was great. Everyone we interacted with (the host, sommelier, food runner) was down to Earth and friendly. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and experience.

Extraordinary. We ordered the picanha (pictured) and tri-tip steaks and they were phenomenal. We ordered chimichurri for both which added tremendous flavor. The Japanese milk bread rolls, whipped potatoes and cocktails were phenomenal as well. Though it is pricey, we will absolutely return.

My son and I had a really nice meal. We had cocktails to start followed by apps, salad, shared 2 steaks with sides and a nice bottle of red wine. Sarah was our server. She was knowledgeable about our gluten free needs and attentive throughout the meal but did not rush us. We will come back next time we're in Denver. Thank you.

Food and service were great! Can't wait to go again. The Sando on the appetizer menu was amazing and so was the steak

Fabulous food (we're from Bay Area so we know!) but noise level unbearable at peak dinner time.
Our server was wonderful, the atmosphere was very nice, and the food was good but my steak was surprisingly a bit chewy/fatty. My daughter however, really enjoyed everything so no regrets.
Six of us (three couples) dined at A5 last night. I have been to A5 five or six times since it opened and consistently it has been one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. I will rethink it after last night. We were seated upstairs and it's just a weird area. The ceiling is low and it feels cramped and there's none of the funky vibe of the rest of the joint. The dinner lasted over three hours and it was at least 30 minutes in between some of the courses. I had a glass of white wine with the apps and then ordered a glass of red for the entrees. The wine (and all drinks) came out very quickly and I appreciate that. However, the red wine came so quickly that I still had about half a glass of white. The server poured the red wine into the half full white wine glass. He then apologized and brought me another glass of red but did not offer to do anything about the half glass of white. At 15 bucks a glass that was kind of lame. I didn't make a big deal out of it, whatever. The oysters were not very good. The kimchi rice tasted like it has been sitting out for an hour. The lamb was only kind of warm and very chewy. The A5 waygu was, as always, incredible. The hamachi was also delicious. Our main server was great and very attentive.
