I've eaten here before once or twice and have really enjoyed the experience, but yesterday my girlfriend and I split a soggy sandwich from here. We then got some of the worst food poisoning I've ever experienced. I will never eat here again. Absolutely horrible experience.

Found this place online while looking for a local sandwich spot. Ordered the Colorado Club and it was absolutely amazing. Did the frito pie and it really hit the spot. Definitely recommend.

Found online and tried out for the first time tonight. Will definitely be back! Was the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time and I love to support local. Employee was friendly and the food superb. Highly recommend.
This is my favorite sandwich shop! Everyone is so cool and the chicken salad sandwich SLAPS!! Logan, Dempsey, and Ishka are all wonderful people and some of the best sandwich makers ever :-)

I’m from Chicago. I always come to Mr. Lucky’s to get a Bird&Basil when I visit Denver. Great variety of creative sandwiches that cater to all sandwich desires.
Showed up at 6:02pm with my 3 year old on my shoulders and the was door was locked. I called a take out order in earlier. The man with long dark hair wouldn’t open the door. I called and he answered the phone. I told him that I called in a take out order, can I pick it up. He said we are closed, you should have been on time, I have stuff to do with my life. Stellar employee and customer service

Mr. Lucky's is a charming little sandwich shop that instantly feels like home. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience enjoyable right from the start. Although there's no indoor seating, the outdoor picnic tables provide a nice atmosphere to enjoy your meal.
I tried the Mr. Lucky Sandwich, which had some standout elements. The Thousand Island mixed with mayonnaise was delicious, and the crunch from the fresh vegetables was fantastic. The bread was perfectly cooked, adding to the overall enjoyment. However, the roast beef was a bit bland, and I found myself digging through the veggies to find it—there just wasn’t enough meat for my taste.
I took my sandwich to a nearby park and paired it with a cane sugar root beer from the shop, which was a nice touch. While I might skip the Mr. Lucky Sandwich next time, I'm definitely looking forward to trying something new on my next visit. Overall, a great little spot worth checking out!

What a great spot! Ordered online to take on a hike, super fresh bread and ingredients. For the comments on smoke smell.. it’s next to a cigar shop, can’t control the sidewalk. Will definitely be stopping again!!
