Mulberries is amazing!! My daughter had her 18th on Saturday and I was informed the day before that the individual who was going to buy her cake couldn’t. I called Mulberries they worked their magic like always and made an even more amazing cake for my daughter!!! Their bakers and decorators are very talented and top tier. If it wasn’t for them the day would have been a total disaster.

I recently got my wedding cake from here and it was absolutely beautiful! It was exactly what I asked for! The owner is extremely nice and made sure my wedding day was perfect! She even upgraded our cake for free and gave us a ton a samples to taste and take home! On our 1 year anniversary she remakes the top of our cake for free! I highly recommend this cake shop and will only go here for my future needs!

I’m not sure words or pictures alone can accurately describe just how thrilled and ecstatic my wife and I are at the finished product we received. The cake decorations were beautiful and far exceeded our expectations given how soon the birthday party was and Mulberries cake shop smashed it out of the park. The cakes were both delicious and were devoured. I genuinely wish I could give more than 5 stars because they deserve 100+ stars going forward Mulberries Cake Shop is getting our business!!

I had such high hopes for this bakery but was super let down on a cake order a couple weeks ago after they confirmed my design was doable. I debated posting this review but was so disappointed so this honest review may serve as a lesson learned for someone else to have a better experience than I did. I will say, the person who took my order was very nice and the customer service component up front was fantastic. What I ordered was a two tier cake in the colors of the first photo (tan on bottom layer and cream or white on the top layer) with the bottom layer textured like in the second photo and what I received was the cake in the third photo. The color were so far off from what we discussed. The top layer was like a light peach color and the bottom a weird gold/orangish color, completely clashing colors. It was all so poorly frosted as you can see there was a huge bubble of frosting on the top of the first layer. My disappointment comes from sharing the photos ahead and asking if the colors and style could be accomplished and after being told it could, I trusted that it was well within the scope of this bakery to execute and that was not the case. They said it was very doable except the bottom textured layer would be straight up and down vs angled like in the picture, which I was totally fine with. I wish they would’ve called me to let me know it wasn’t working out for them to accomplish the colors I requested and I would have much preferred an all white cake to the atrocious colors that this turned out to be. I had to rush to a surprise party immediately after picking this up, minutes before the shop closed and I didn’t even know how to express my dissatisfaction in the moment and had to think fast on how to fix the cake on my own to make it presentable as it was so bad and outside of the theme of the party with how off the colors were. I immediately went to Safeway across the street, purchased a bunch of canned frosting and re-frosted the top layer in plain white frosting the best I could and added some balls that I thankfully had on hand as decor to make the cake presentable (fourth pic is what I came up with after re-frosting the top layer and adding my own decor). Once the top layer was white and not the weird peach color I received it made the bottom gold color not look so off. These cakes aren’t cheap and you expect better quality from a custom bakery with other great reviews but I could’ve have went with something store bought and added my own flair for cheaper and no disappointment. I had hope that the cake would taste amazing to make up for the poor design and it was just okay. Guests commented on how dense the strawberry layer was. It was edible thankfully but overall, I cannot in good faith recommend this bakery.
Mulberries did a fantastic job for both my mini gender reveal cake and my babies Bluey birthday cake. I requested it be shaped in a number two and be Bluey themed for a girl. With only that direction they created a perfect pull apart cupcake birthday cake for her party. She loved it so much. The cupcakes were vanilla and chocolate. Kept it simple for a child’s party and they were so yummy!! So glad we decided to get the Bluey cake and my gender reveal cake. Both were perfectly executed and I didn’t have to really give much of a description. Which was nice. Thank you!

We ordered a smash cake and birthday cake for our daughter’s first birthday and the decor for the cakes were so cute! Thank you for your creativity. The carrot cake was delicious. We also ordered 3 dozen cookies as party favors, thank you for individually wrapping them. They were a hit! Highly recommend snickernoodle, chocolate chip and m&m. We made sure to tell everyone to check out your bakery! You guys were fantastic to work with!
