Came in the day before my father's 100th birthday party and found the perfect cake! They customized it for me, and I got some cupcakes in other flavors just in case (I don't like chocolate cakes). I was astounded, the chocolate cake with strawberry filling was delicious! I will be going back hopefully many times in the future!

Mulberries Cake Shop was the cake vendor for our wedding, and working with them was AMAZING. When we went to meet for the initial cake tasting, we were greeted by Kathleen, who owns Mulberries, and she walked us through the process. She had warm samples ready for us to try, and let us know we could sample more flavors if we called in advance to try them. We ended up picking a 3 tiered cake with 3 different flavors. On wedding day, our cake was gorgeous and delicious.My Mom and Dad used to go to Mulberries when it was on Gaylord. I went in to Mulberries often when I was in high school when it was on Colfax. Luckily for my mother and father in law, they live in Brighton, so they now get to frequent Mulberries at their newest location.
Always so nice to my friends and I when we walk in. Great cookies, pastries, cupcakes & the bear claws are amazing. My favorite part has to be the seating outside during the fall, definitely recommend walking over and checking out!

Our wedding cake was so disappointing. We met with the baker and saw her work and tasted many different things. After showing her the design we were told it would be no problem. When I saw my cake and cupcakes at the venue I almost cried I was so embarrassed that guests had already seen them. The entire wedding theme was an eclipse and nobody could make out the terrible design on the cake or cupcakes. It really looked like she forgot our event and then asked someone else to quickly throw the design onto the cake. Edges were not sharp, icing was not smooth, it just looked like a home baked cake. Taste was great but aesthetically was not acceptable for a wedding.

The cake was beautiful, and the design, flavors, and execution was exactly what we asked for. Mulberries Cake Shop designed a three tier cake, with different flavors and fillings for each tier. Tier one: Lemon poppyseed with raspberry filling- perfect level of sweetness and an amazing flavor. Tier two: Red velvet with fudge- delicious, rich, chocolate flavor that our guests loved. Tier three: butter pecan cake with cream cheese filling- absolutely to die for and not overly sweet. To work within our budget, Mulberries Cake Shop suggested we do a cake for 75 people and order a sheet cake of one of the flavors on the side in case we needed extra, which was a helpful and thoughtful solution to stay in budget. Our guests absolutely loved our cake and raved about it at our reception. We could not have been happier in choosing Mulberries Cake Shop for our wedding cake and highly recommend them to others needing a delicious, unique, and affordable wedding cake.

I truly feel that certain milestones in life should be celebrated. My wife turning 60 years old is one of those milestones. I had a funny and fairly unique design for the cake.i picked from a list of cake, filling, and frosting flavor so it felt pretty custom to me. I gave them a week and it was done in plenty of time. The service was awesome and so were the people. I will definitely be coming back, and recommending their services.
