This is my go to for lunch to get away from the office. Sit at the bar and get the JCB with fries/rings and a bloody while shooting the shit with the bartender, Jimmy. No fuss, no frills, always a good stop.

The food is pretty tasty bar style sandwiches and fried goodies.. It's expensive for fairly small portions.
My gf ordered a Moscow Mule, and I ordered a Mexican Mule. Served in a glass instead of a copper mug. Maybe I'm picky but almost none of the pieces of the actual drink were present. They use sours mix instead of ginger beer I guess???
The bartender pours the sours mix, which doesn't even belong in a mule of any variety, straight off of the end of his finger to slow down the pour, so you get whatever gross items he previously touched, right in your drink.
They were both legit the worst mules I have ever tasted anywhere in a long line of tasting flavors.
It's a fake drink with fake ingredients that aren't a part of the original cocktails at any level.. $10 for a terribly made, well drink. This business may not know how to make a basic mixed drink. Mine deserves a .5 out of 10 and I'll never return. Truly half a point.
Good food, quite terribly constructed mixed drinks.
Pretty good bar food. Stunningly poorly made mixed drinks. Just a lack of class and any carbonation in drinks. They use flat ginger beer and sours mix instead of lime for both Mexican mules and Moscow mules. The bartender uses his pointer finger to slow down the flow of sours mix. ?? Which they add to mule beverages and then serve in a regular collins glass. Honestly just terrible all around drinks at the bar to be quite honest.
I wouldn't come back. Pretty gross.

Small local bar with a great beer selection, dinner style food, open kitchen (with smells that will have your mouth watering as soon as you walk in) and a lot of history on the walls.
Rumor is this is the oldest continuously operated bar in Denver. I can't vouch for that fact but I can tell you this is a must see.

Such a cool place; big fan of the preservation of history here, and the burgers are delicious. The caddy with the fixins is a nice part of the experience as well!
The bartenders are also incredibly friendly. Whether you're grabbing a drink or a bite, this place is a must-try.

I stopped by for the first time a few weeks ago. Service and drinks are great, food is very good but I was almost finished eating when a cockroach walked next to my plate. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Went for a work holiday party tonight. The waitress, I wish I remembered her name, was phenomenal! She remembered people's drinks with a group of like 40! The food was super good! I was too busy eating it to take photos. I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you for having us.

Pretty solid sandwiches and burgers! The prices were not bad at around 13 for a burger. It does cost extra for lettuce and tomato, however. Each burger comes with a little box of condiments -- onions, pickles, peppers. Burgers are a bit medium-rare when they come medium, so specify this if you don't want it so rare.

I’m at MBB monthly for a networking event and try to visit more often because of the vibe, service and food. Try the jalapeño cream cheese burger with onion rings, and dress it with a little pickle and relish yourself.

Classic old school bar with top notch pub food, especially the burgers. Full bar and a small outdoor patio make for a choice watering hole.
