Narrative offers a pleasant dining experience overall. The ambience is warm and inviting, making it a nice spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was attentive and friendly, which we really appreciated. The food, however, was fairly plain and nothing particularly memorable. While everything was prepared well, there wasn’t anything that truly stood out. Overall, a decent place for the atmosphere and service.

Service at the bar was really quite outstanding. Ambience too was so nice and charming. Drinks were great. Food was just ok. We had higher expectations for the food. Steak tartare was great but other items weren't as good as we thought they should be, given the seemingly higher end spot. Pork belly thing was way too breaded and deep fried, quality more of a chain restaurant or something like that. Shrimp cocktail thing too, shrimp with bad tomatillo salsa as a condiment. Missing the boat on food in my opinion. I'd probably go back to cocktails but likely skip the food.
The food was delicious! Staff was very attentive and friendly.

Great food, loved the lobster corn dogs. The service was good, we will definitely go back again
Went for lunch. I ordered Tuna melt. It was tremendous. Had a side salad not the fries but my friend said fries were divine. Portion sizes were BIG! Service was spot on. It was pretty quiet. The only negative is that their sign is so small / understated - with the construction I walked right past and could not find the entrance for the life of me! Had to call my friend who also had a tough time finding. Definitely would go back for lunch. I want to try their veggie burger - yum!
Great meal, great staff, classy modern ambiance. Truly proper dining experience in cherry creek. All the food was delicious, compliments to the chef. Staff was attentive and helpful. Cocktails all on point as well. Big thanks, I generally am dubious of restaurants inside of hotels but Narrative wad a pleasant surprise. I will definitely consider eating there again when in Denver.

Food was good, wall of books is... wallpaper?
Nice small place. The host seemed flustered even though half the restaurant was empty. The gluten free menu items listed online and on the menu were inaccurate; fortunately our waitress knew what we could get. The steak was fine but nothing special. Potatoes lacked seasoning. Pork shoulder was good.
My girlfriend and I had New Year's Eve reservations. Now being a major “date night” holiday, we, as anyone else should, expected somewhat of a wait. The greeter promptly greeted us and said they were a little behind but our table would be available shortly. He sat us at the bar where we waited for our table. That was at approximately 9:17pm. At 9:30 he came and said our table was ready. We sat down, and were admiring the 3D wallpaper and fixtures from the ceiling. At 10:15pm...we still hadn't been offered water, let alone seen a server. Now again, I understand it was a holiday. But respectfully, it wasn't THAT busy. With all due respect, if I go to an Olive Garden, one should expect to at least be offered a water after being there for 45 minutes. At 10:20pm I noticed that 2 (yes two) tables who sat after us has not only seen their servers, but one of the tables had their appetizers. We still have not been offered water...at 10:35pm...1 hour and 35 minutes after we had been officially seated, we had not even been offered water. My girlfriend looked absolutely beautiful in her dress, and it was supposed to be an amazing evening. We ended up going to a taco truck up in Broomfield where we live (yes we drove an hour to get there as well) where we received literally the best service I could have asked for...at a taco truck. The evening was spared thanks to the owner, but as far as narrative went...one could expect better service at a Taco Bell.
We visit this restaurant three or four times a year and usually have very good food, but tonight's pre-fixed main courses did not meet their normal quality. We would have preferred to pay more for great quality sides and meats that were not half fat (and we are not talking about the great cuts that are marblized throughout providing a nice buttery texture). We waited 40 minutes for our desserts and decided to leave. Looking forward to a better experience next time.

We ordered the halibut, chicken and Caesar salad with steak, along with the brussle sprouts to share. All the food was delicious and presented well. The halibut filets at $45 were a bit small/thin for that price, but still very good. They also have great wines by the glass.
Finally, I found somewhere in Cherry Creek worth a good review. And to my surprise, it was a restaurant… inside a hotel.
We typically avoid hotel restaurants especially, since they often feel boxed in and designed to appeal to everyone, which can make the food feel untrustworthy or uninspired. Narrative completely changed that perception.
While nothing immediately called out to us as a must-order full plate, we thoroughly enjoyed sampling a variety of tapas along with a salad. The tapas were delicious overall, though we did notice that quite a few items were fried. we’d love to see a bit more balance on the menu.
The standout for me was easily the lamb chop lollipops absolutely fantastic. The pork was flavorful as well, though it was very fatty and served in large chunks, which felt a bit less elegant than expected.
Service was excellent: minimal but attentive, and they truly allowed us to enjoy our time without interruption. And I can’t forget the mocktail it was divine.
All in all, I’d absolutely return to Narrative and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a refined yet relaxed dining experience in Cherry Creek.

The cocktails were amazing, the service and ambiance were nice, and the food left a lot to be desired. The Brussels were fantastic, the chicken was good, the short rib was tough (a disappointing surprise), and the highly recommended halibut was the worst I’ve ever had - bland except for the charcoal taste, and extremely overcooked. I’d visit again, but only for cocktails. The berry nice to meet you was exceptional.

I ordered the Alaskan halibut, which came out very dry and flaky. My partner immediately pointed out that it looked overcooked before I even took a bite. I sent it back and was brought a new piece, which was slightly better, but still not prepared well. Unfortunately, it was a letdown.
