Haven't been to New York Deli News in years! Went to Santiago's not realizing they were closed on Sundays so we drove down the street looking for a breakfast place. Saw the New York Deli News marquis that said breakfast so we gave it a try. Took a while for someone to take our order but at least we had coffee. We almost left thinking we were forgotten. At the time we arrived, it was not busy. Glad we stayed and waited. The food was hot and tasty. I had the #1 which was eggs, bacon, potatoes and a bagel. My friend had the Deli Hash and it came with a bagel too. We both agreed that we'd come back again for breakfast to try some of the other dishes.

If You hesitate on paying the price I can tell you this turkey club sandwich comes with the potato salad and coleslaw and is enough for me to have all day long lol. It's so good it's my breakfast lunch and dinner and if you get lucky and they do a BOGO - thats a deal! I loved it!

I got their corned beef reuben. It’s too expensive for what it is. The portion of meat is huge but it was very dry like it had been sitting out for a while. The bread was over grilled and was hard as a rock. The sauerkraut was pretty flavorless. I ate it because I spent $25 on it. Otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered. I probably won’t be back.

Absolutely delicious, their pickle are so good as a person who jars my own every year these are spot on! The food is good over priced for the size we ordered small but it all was flavorful and delicious. We will return.

I guess if I am in Colorado, which don't get me wrong I love and can't be in New York or California (Cantor's Deli in LA or Katella Deli in OC) this place will have to suffice. The service is pretty much like NY and LA (comes with attitude). Food does come in seconds and thirds to NY and CA. The decor does need a makeover.

I'm from out of state but my wife and I come to Denver several times a year. Every single trip starts the same. We go from the airport directly to NY Deli News because it's just that fantastic. The vibe, the employees, and the food are just the absolute best. By far our fave deli place to eat anywhere and we've been to several in NYC. EAT HERE!!

Denver has a bunch of delis, would be delis, pretend delis, sandwich shops that think they're delis, sort of Jewish delis, and the New York Deli News which is the closest thing we've got to a classic, New York City-style Jewish deli. It has been my favorite since they opened in 1989 and it is my favorite now. They hit all of my hot buttons: matzo ball soup, deli salads, chopped liver, a huge list of fantastic, overstuffed sandwiches (corned beef, pastrami, corned beef & pastrami!), blintzes, all day breakfast, and weekend brunch. The space was getting a little tired on my last visit several months ago, but I was surprised this visit with a fancy new sign, a new color scheme, new menus, a tidied up interior, and new systems, including very nice hand-held terminals for the servers. Everything ran very efficiently.I had my frequent order of blintzes on this visit. They were tasty, hot, and fresh. My friend had a very generously-sized cheese omelet which he enjoyed. I love the matzo ball (chicken) soup here. The matzo balls are always tender and the soup richly flavored. The sandwiches are great. You can't go wrong with any of them. This place hits the spot whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The New York Deli News is one of Denver's treasures. This is the place for the authentic New York deli experience. Foods got some new york diner quality to it... service too... but there's quality issues that can be improved. The Bialy is served like the picture shows... when I asked why I was told they are shipped from NY and they lose their onion filling.... Then maybe describe it as such? Or just say it's toast?

Our waitress (blonde in her 40s) kept taking away our plates, drinks and even waters and at the end, trying to ask us to leave. We were there only for 1.5 hours and a group of us friends were having good chat. It’s very rude of her to interrupt like that. The place was not that busy with no one waiting. There were other tables that were there longer than us and i didn’t see anyone asking them to leave. I regret even giving her tips. The Reuben is mediocre and does not worth $20. I will not come back to this place. If you are looking for a good brunch place, I do not recommend it.
