Fantastic red beans and rice. My wife had shrimp and grits, also delicious. They were busy, and service wasn't fast. But! They acknowledged us several times and sat us quickly, and took care of us. Clearly a well run operation that cares about the quality of food and experience. Can't wait to visit again.
My best friend was born and raised in Louisiana and swears by this place’s gumbo. Every time we are near Denver together we go. As for myself, their crawfish étouffée is my go to with a side of honey cornbread. It’s phenomenal.
Perhaps bad idea to visit after actually being in NoLa for 7+ days and having some of the best food (had a hankering for a NoLa inspired food after coming back home to Denver). Was hoping the food would be more authentic but it just didn't hit the mark. The only authentic experience was the cocktails. Despite this, the servers were attentive and the atmosphere was welcoming. The cocktails made me feel like I was back in NoLa. 🎩🦴🪦⚜️
