Sushi lovers — this is your spot! 🥢
Okinawa Sushi on Tennyson serves some of the freshest sushi and sashimi I’ve had in Denver. Everything was fantastic — from the Yellowtail Jalapeño and Red Snapper Carpaccio to the specialty rolls like the Snow White and Playboy.

The fatty tuna nigiri was unreal — melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Beautiful presentation, great service, and a cozy spot right in one of Denver’s best streets. Can’t wait to come back!

This is the best sushi place around! The fish is delicious. The sushi has just the right amount of fish, rice, and other ingredients. They are very friendly. And the lunch special can't be beat!

The restaurant has been making my food for an hour. I called 30 min after I had placed my order and they haven't even started making it

Such a cute spot, not loud or busy at all on a Friday evening at 5pm so it was perfect for a yap session with my best friend. Small and intimate place for sushi. I had the spicy girl roll and the rainbow roll and it was amazing. Pineapple jalapeño margarita was perfect 🍍🌶️🍹

I love this spot for casual sushi! Especially the lunch deal—you get 3 rolls & a miso soup or Japanese salad for only $23 including tax & tip. These are substantial rolls too, I’m always stuffed afterwards.

This place doesn’t skimp on the good stuff, which is my sushi pet peeve. They have a high fish to rice ratio and generally don’t stuff their rolls with cheap filler (imitation crab, cucumber, cream cheese etc.) unless you want it.

The servers here are friendly and attentive. This is my go-to sushi lunch spot!

Underrated, sushi is always on point. Crispy Rice and gyoza are amazing. This is a go to spot of ours

You ever have go out for sushi but wish you had some greens that really compliment your meal? Okinawa's black pepper tuna salad isn't a lot of greens, but comes with a generous portion of tuna that melts in your mouth. Really a deal anytime anywhere but it just fits well with rolls, sushi and sashimi. Superb service. Friendly folks.

This place has so much potential. The service is great and obviously location is awesome.

The sushi was mediocre, and I was surprised when the miso soup was half full and very diluted.

The saki bombs were probably the worst sake bombs we had ever tried and seriously, we almost vomited.

Service was great, although we were the only ones in the restaurant and they still were prioritizing to-go orders. It took about 30 minutes to get out a few rolls.

Maybe we will be back? Probably trying other spots in the area first.
