For many years, we attempted to locate a meat market that sells bone-in roast. A friend suggested Oliver Meat Market, and now it is my go-to meat market. This is a roast that many sell as a boneless roast, which lacks no flavor. Many people don't like buying bone-in roast because they don't want to pay for the bone. Bone-In roast offers a far better flavor. As an amateur chef, I enjoy cooking a bone-in roast. The best part of cooking this roast is the leftovers. I grind all the leftover roast and vegetables after sitting in the fridge for a day into an excellent meat spread. My neighbors rave about my meat spread. As a southern boy, I grew up eating boudin, a quintessential Cajun sausage originating from Southern Louisiana, consisting of cooked pork, rice, onions, peppers, and savory spices packed into a hog casing. In my 40 years, I have never bought meat that was this perfect of quality. The steaks, stew meat, turkey, sausages etc…all taste amazing. You know you are getting good meat when you eat until you’re full but you don’t feel weighed down and bloated like most store-bought meats with fillers and nasty additives. There is a reason this spot has been around for 100 years! Old school and perfect! You get delicious, fresh and locally sourced meat and seafood here along with a lot of other great staples. We always get our colorado lamb here and they will prep everything how you like. Absolutely a must stop and shop

I had a great experience today with them. Bought some chorizo, Italian sausage and some bacon for the weeks meals. Cooked the Italian sausage tonight in some cabbage rolls and this is the best quality sausage I’ve had in the US. This business is 103 years old and they know how to take care of business. I highly recommend this place got your proteins.
