Has been a staple stop when we come back to Denver. We have moved and always make time for this bakery! Reminds me of going to my Nana's and her having the table full of food and pastries. Thank you for keeping me fed! See you soon!

Omonia is a true neighborhood gem - a perfect place to meet friends for coffee and sweet or savory pastry, stop in for a quick spanikopita lunch, or grab delicious dessert to take to a dinner party, work event...or anything! I live nearby, go all the time, have tried virtually everything and can assure you that anything you try won't disappoint.

Maybe it’s because I walked a few miles, but this place has the BEST baklava

Absolutely delicious! I stopped in and grabbed the last piece of tiramisu and an apricot cake — both were so good I ended up eating them right away. Everything in the case looked amazing, and honestly, there isn’t a single thing there I wouldn’t try. The staff were friendly, kind, and welcoming, and the baked goods were next-level.
There’s a lot of street construction going on right now, which makes parking a bit tricky, but once it’s finished, I’d imagine it won’t be an issue. Totally worth the stop — I’ll definitely be back!

Really nice pastries. The walnut cake is like a wet gingerbread, and a warm spinach pie.
The family who runs this are just really kind people it's hard to come here and no leave feeling better. The pastries are a good deal and really yummy.

Best spanakopita I've had since living in Greece. Delicious!

Ammonia reminds me of the Greek bakery in Chicago near where I was born 78 years ago. Its plain, unpretentious interior and hearing people speak Greek while enjoying their pastries and coffee give it a very warm charm for me. And they have the best spanakopita and yalaktaboureko.

Baklava…melts in your mouth. Beyond delicious. ✨✨✨✨✨
The owner Paulina is a true gem and so is everything in this bakery! Took a whole box for my family and I to try and we all absolutely LOVED everything! So fresh, the bread is moist to perfection, the cookies are divine, the fruit is fresh. I haven’t had a cake this delicious since I left California. Seriously, there is nothing like a family owned business that always hits the spot, just right. Nothing compares! Oh and they do have vegan options!
I've been going here for over 30 years!!! So good it will not disappoint. I really miss the old great man who used to run it. I fear I will never have meringue as good as he made it. He was so kind to me and treated me like family. His family took over for him and I know he is so proud. This is an old piece of Denver that I truly appreciate!!!
