The ambiance is amazing! We came on Mother's Day and there was a live music. The service on the other hand was not so great. We were sat for 15 minutes before we had been greeted and given water. Our server had come around just a few times and she was okay. She said the food was slow today so you would think she would get our order in right away but she took about 40 minutes to do so. Food then took at least another 40 minutes to come out. The food was very underwhelming and small portions. It's unfortunate because this is such a cute place but we will probably not be back.

I took two friends there for their birthdays. When I made the reservation, it said that it would be a "live" show. I was very disappointed when I asked our server and she said, "sometimes it's a live show". The bill was way over what it should have been and due to no live entertainment. This was my first time there and it will probably be my last.

Beware when reserving. Charged a $160 cancellation for a reservation by a very rude person on the phone who stated “You were told the policy when you made the reservation”. The policy was not mentioned during booking and at the time of booking the reason a card was required was to “hold the reservation”. A clear policy is absolutely fine but being extremely rude and making an assumption of what was said during a phone call weeks ago is unacceptable.

Atmosphere is great, food is meh. Trying to put a twist on basic brunch food and doesn't meet the mark. Server was hungover, asked for a side of gravy from 2 servers 20 minutes apart, one brought green chili. Wrong movie was playing for mean girls brunch and music was not from movie. Disappointing for the most part. Mimosa was good, just give me eggs benny, not on an overly breaded personal pizza, don't need chicken and biscuits and gravy, just biscuits and gravy.

This place is a DREAM!!! Such fun decor and people, amazing performance space, delicious food and drinks with so many options and accomodations. It really feels like a rare local gem that is disappearing in most cities. Denver is lucky to have Ophelia's!

For Denver food standard, it was above avg. You cant go wrong with fried chicken sandwich. We moved from Chicago - so a bit picky on food tastes. Service was great. Really cool atmosphere.

It is different with the upstairs and downstairs.I sat upstairs and had a great view of Led Zeppelin 2, they blew the roof off the place!!I had the pepperoni pizza and it was delicious.Service was excellent.The only thing I didn't care for was this:I had reserved seats for the show but when I got there I was told there were people at my table eating so I had to wait until about 15 minutes before the show started to get my seat.Great place and I'll be back for another show!!
