ordered a couple sandwiches. pastrami and Italian. Italian had so much dressing it made the bread soggy tasty but sloppy. the pastrami was good. great marble rye. 27 bucks for a couple sandwiches. meh. I guess that is the going rate. the 5 dollar tip the establishment added with out my permission. ridiculous. I mean it is a sandwich shop. do you really deserves a tip for making a sandwich ..... kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth my mouth.

I stopped by when I was grabbing some food for some friends for our trip to the mountains. I’m vegan and my friends are not. I grabbed the Tuscan Bean Salad for myself which I loved! They had so many options to choose from for my friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with suggestions. I loved the open kitchen concept as I could see how clean the kitchen was and it was great to see the chefs interacting with each other. I could see all the fresh ingredients so I knew the food would be delicious. There were so many options for family meals and dinner parties as well which makes life so much easier! My friends raved about the food! I will definitely be back!

Yes it’s a sandwich shop, so I should have avoided the chicken fried rice…that’s on me. Remember white person taco night growing up? Imagine that but with fresh rice, mushy vegetables, no seasoning or spices and drowned it in sesame oil. Shoulda known better
To top it off they had hideous live “music”. And you pay for this? Count me out.
Really enjoyed this Cuban! Everything was very tasty on it and it was ready before the estimated time. Had no idea this was inside Leever’s when I ordered but will definitely be coming back!

The Cubano is excellent
They just shrugged when we asked about vegan and said they couldn’t do it
The chopped cheese was not up to New York city bodega standards

Not very friendly . The sandwich was good. Too bad I felt like I had to leave to enjoy it.

Love the breakfast sandwich. Btw the price is different on the in store menu than it is on the online menu.

Expensive small sandwich that has way too much spice. Not worth the trip!!!
Dietary restrictions: No gluten free for sandwiches
Parking: Hard to park, service is very rushed
Kid-friendliness: Music too loud for kids and it’s on the street

I tried the Italian Sub and really enjoyed it. Quite the hearty sandwich for a fair price. Looking forward to trying another sandwich the next time I stop by.

Oscar’s is definitely a hidden gem worth checking out. I go there a couple times a week to pick up lunch. Super friendly staff that make great food at a great price. I’d highly recommend checking out their rotating specials, especially if it’s one of Luke’s masterpieces, like the bbq pulled chicken sandwich.
