I just had one of their grab-and-go sandwiches from a Natural Grocers deli case. And while it was not bad per se, I would have expected a lot more from an $8+ sandwich. They do a very good job of folding the turkey just right, so it looks like the sandwich is packed. But you take one bite and it's gone. Barely any goat cheese or spread. Just a big chunk of bread and a single slice of turkey. That'll be $8.19. It was the food equivalent of wrapping a bunch of $1 bills in a $100 bill. I will not be buying one of those ever again.

I didn’t realized this Vert Kitchen was going to provide me with the inspiration, excitement, and energy I needed for today.Vert Kitchen serves organic menu options. Even for the preferred carnivore, the menu offers irresistibly tasty choices. Not only are there robust vegan options, but also, there are interesting gluten-free dishes.Had the wild rice soup and the Dan Dan rice and beans. Both had enjoyable textures and robust flavor. The latte art made me leap with excitement. Beautiful. There’s complimentary wi-fi. Street-side parking is available. They have a separate entrance and area for to-go coffee and beverages, a couple doors down from the restaurant part of Vert Kitchen.I highly recommend this local Denver spot.

My favorite stop post sauna session. This super small (narrow) coffee shop always hits the spot. For espresso drinks they offer 2 different types of non-dairy milk, oat & almond. When you walk in there isn't much space but if you are looking to stay you can walk through their kitchen to the back patio.

These are the types of cafes I'm always looking for. Cute little tables, great indoor and outdoor seating options, an all-day menu with delicious food, and great coffee to boot. Came here today with a couple friends after a walk around Wash Park. I was hoping to check out their fenced in patio, but didn't realize it was out back, and we had my dog- no dogs out back. Oh well, the sidewalk tables were nice too! We ordered from the to-go window, and I was a bit shocked at the price of my sandwich order at first ($19 for the turkey), but when it arrived, I was impressed with the size of the sandwich & also the generous side that came with it. I definitely couldn't finish it all. The fig jam on the turkey sandwich with the goat cheese was the perfect combo. YUM. I also ordered a coffee with cream, which was brewed to perfection. Staff were all chipper & helpful when I asked for suggestions. They even brought me a cup of water for my pup!

I want to love Overt. First, the hours for a coffee shop are kind of kooky. Most people are at work or on the road by the time Overt opens so there's that. However, the worst part is the service. I don't think I've ever popped by for a coffee and didn't feel like I was taking up too much space. The baristas rarely speak aside from confirming my order, not even to say hello or good morning. I'm not asking for overly friendly conversation with a stranger, just a hello. I live just houses away from Overt so it would be so fun to be able to pop down for a coffee or nosh but I'm happier walking the couple of blocks to Wash Perk.

Great food and coffee but the staff were quite rude unfortunately

A cafe that stops serving breakfast at 11?That has to be a joke. The food is amazing but I'm not looking for a coffee and Lemon Tuna sandwich before noon...

The food is SO FRESH and delicious. I mean really delicious. The chefs create authentic combinations and all sauces are homemade. A little pricey, but sooo worth it for a small business that creates such amazing food. We also must consider the rent is quite high in this area, so I think they have fair prices.

Food is delicious and the staff is great! I've had many conversations while getting coffee. They have the patio which is super nice, but I usually stick to the tables out on the street to hang out with the puppy while I wait or eat. I recommend you give it a try.

When I visited they had local roaster huckleberry, good coffee. The back patio is quiet and convivial. I was a bit unsure why certain space be deemed private, it appears the property owner wants to ensure her employees occupying an adjacent space have outdoor areas available. :shrug:I did not try the food.Great aesthetic and clever use of small space.I’d come back. Would be nice if the coffee was cheaper. Alas the prices reflect the incomes of this quiet upper middle class Denver neighborhood.

What a beautiful, cozy place.

Super cute coffee shop with an awesomely serene patio. Seating is limited though as most of the patio seating is for the restaurant. Their Saigon herbal tea is excellent. For getting work done, it's not a good place for me. Music playing (inside only) is upbeat with lyrics which is distracting (but on the patio, there is no music so that's cool). It's quiet enough that my Bose headphones could mask it. And I'm limited to using a Verizon hotspot and there's only 1, maybe 2, bars available here (not Overt's fault of course). There are also no outlets on the patio. So when I don't have to GSD, this will be my go to Wash Park coffee shop!
