Gyro meat should not be the same color and consistency as charcoal. Also, a water cup shouldn't feel greasy as an eel when you pick it up. The second star is only given out of the love, I used to have the this place.

This Place has its history for a reason. Highly recommend the chorizo omelette omg so tasty and a ton of cheese. Staff was great we will continue to come here and will highly recommend to friends and family.

This is a down home diner with lots of local history. Staff is friendly, the food is always hot and the atmosphere is nostalgic. The prices are well suited to the menu with large portions.

My buddy and I ate breakfast. He had chicken fried steak. I had chicken fried chicken breakfast. They were both very good, service was good. Place was very clean. I even commented, there was no dust on the overhead duct work. Very good quality for the price.
DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS - they have no way of knowing the balance. I had a gift card of $50 with about $20 to $30 left. They had no way of retrieving the balance on the card so they get to keep $20 to $30 for nothing. They offered NO REMEDY at all - easy profit. It's become a scam.
Since the sad passing of Pete, the service and service providers have greatly reduced the experience. I went to Pete's at least twice a week for 18 years. Since the decline of service after his death I rarely go there. Now I doubt I ever will.
DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS THERE unless you want to give them money for nothing.
