We had planned a breakfast at another place, but it was closed when we arrived, and lucky for us. We did a quick search and found Pete's Kitchen, close by the Denver Botanical Gardens (which was our planned activity for that afternoon). Had to drive around the block a bit due to some construction, but parking is convenient behind the restaurant. We all had an excellent breakfast, the menu is regular diner fare, and very good. Service is quick and friendly, portions are large and the food is excellent. Prices are reasonable, and the place is clean and comfortable.

Gyro meat should not be the same color and consistency as charcoal. Also, a water cup shouldn't feel greasy as an eel when you pick it up. The second star is only given out of the love, I used to have the this place.

This Place has its history for a reason. Highly recommend the chorizo omelette omg so tasty and a ton of cheese. Staff was great we will continue to come here and will highly recommend to friends and family.

This is a down home diner with lots of local history. Staff is friendly, the food is always hot and the atmosphere is nostalgic. The prices are well suited to the menu with large portions.

Great food and great service. This was a great place for lunch when passing through Denver. We ordered a Greek salad and Rueben sandwich ( one of the best I ever ate) with fries and would definitely recommend. I will add to my favorites list for future stops in Denver.
My buddy and I ate breakfast. He had chicken fried steak. I had chicken fried chicken breakfast. They were both very good, service was good. Place was very clean. I even commented, there was no dust on the overhead duct work. Very good quality for the price.
