Such a disappointing experience trying to place a custom cake order. Reached out twice via the online form with no response. Voicemail was not working, and neither was the website text feature. Missed the week-ahead ordering window required most places thinking Petunia would eventually follow up. While the baked treats may be good, the service left a bad taste in my mouth.

Been wanting to check out this bakeshop since it opened, and made it happen yesterday. Why did I wait to long to discover this gem; it'll be a regular stop for now on! Petunia is so much more than a bakery: coffeehouse, sandwich shop, bakery, breadshop, local hangout. I visited for a sandwich, for which I read very positive reviews. The menu seemed vegetarian oriented, and I found a well described turkey sandwich that I ordered on their sourdough bread. Wow! what a treat. delicious and healthy portion.
I couldn't restrain myself from going back to pick up some bakery for takeout: raspberry cheesecake and carrot cake, among the standouts for me. The craft and quality of excellent baking is not lost here. YUM>

This place has the best cold brew I have had in a while and a really well-seasoned breakfast bowl, I highly recommend it for vegetarians! Staff were friendly and I enjoyed sitting inside to have my breakfast, everyone should come here for breakfast while in Jeff Park!

Owner refuses to hire enough workers. Waited in line for 37 mins to get a croissant.

Nice place, but really slow service and staff that don’t know how to make even basic drinks. I ordered a cappuccino and watched the staff looking up how to make it. The drink wasn’t great.

Goated. Pastries are amazing. I had the croissant sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese... Also shared some of the sweet options. They are only open 4 days a week, so keep that in mind. Make the stop!

Very cute little shop. I’d been wanting to try this place for sometime and today was the day. They have a great display of their baked goods lots of croissants, danishes, macarons, etc. it’s a smaller shop and the flow is a little confusing of where to order, and not really much space to wait for your food but we figured it out. I got a blueberry danish, birria croissant, and an iced latte. The danish was absolutely delicious crispy exterior and soft interior combined with the gooey cheese center. It was perfect I’ll happily have that any day. I was very excited for the birria croissant but I’m sad to say it was a bust for me. It was cheesey the bread was soft and delicious but i definitely didn’t get anything that made me say birria i didn’t get any meat inside that i notice and the consome was flavorless compared to what i am use to I’ll definitely pass on it. However i also saw a poblano pepper one that caught my eye and I’ll probably try in the future. Also the classic ham and cheese would probably be better option than the birria is my guess. Latte was good and overall the danish was so delicious aswell as the crust of the crossiant that I’ll be back and excited to try others. But that birria one I’d say skip maybe i was given the wrong one but it was a flap for me. I’d highly recommend to skip it if you’re looking for something authentic.

Fabulous little bakery right on the corner of Federal! The chorizo croissant was unique and delicious (made with homemade chorizo). They also had around 4-5 GF options as well which were equally as delicious, but only sweet options.
Prices are lower than every other Denver bakery we've been to, so also a huge bonus! Great service and employees as well. Will definitely stop here again next time we're in the area!
