We don’t eat out often but Phonatic is definitely on our list of go to’s! The spring rolls and chicken pho are die for!
Oua and Willie always treat us so well and Leon is always so friendly and attentive! We will be customers for life!

Bad meat and broth
Honestly my favorite phó in Denver. Always super fresh basil, , lime, and sprouts. Flavorful broth, tender meats, and even the tendon is super tender not chewy like some places... If you enjoy phó check this place out. Definitely the best downtown hands down. Used to be the one on 16th Street but that one is absolutely awful now. Ten out of ten. And definitely try the soft shell crab appetizer 🦀!!!

Amazing every time! I come here weekly for dinner with the hubby. The environment is friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious. Best place for Pho!

The most flavorless pho ive ever had. The broth was hard to differentiate from water
The vibe here is fantastic. The pho was hands down the best I’ve had in a while, the server was very kind and hospitable. I gotta give him a special shout out cause he’s pretty much doing everything himself but he does it with a grace and warmth you don’t find in most places. The atmosphere was also great—everyone was chatting, just enjoying the good food. Definitely recommend checking them out!!

Ordered take out pho last night. It was some of the best I’ve ever had even as take out. The delivery person was great too. Highly recommend!

I've been sporadically going here for about 15 years. A lot of restaurants on Colfax have come and gone, and this one has stayed for a good reason. The Pho is as good as it gets in Denver, and the waitstaff and owners are amazing, genuinely nice people. When I bring my kids, the older woman frequently gives them free soda. Can't recommend enough.

We came for early lunch (11:45ish) ordered a small and regular bowl and two drinks. The bowls were $20 each it was $60 for everything. The waiter was very pleasant and the pho was solid. Fresh not too fatty. Would maybe come again for the pho but the issue was the boba I ordered was truly once in a life time terrible. I have no idea how it was so bad. It was an avocado boba, my go to. And on the first sip I was so confused (I ordered it to go so I was no longer at the restaurant to inform the staff) it was as if I was drinking cough syrup. I moved my straw around to see if I had drank from an odd place but no luck. It was truly terrible. I offered a drink to my partner who normally happily consumes any food or drink under the sun and I knew it was wrong when even his face turned sour and he asked “what the helly” so if I were you feel free to have your $20 bowl of pho but maybe think twice about ordering the $7 cup of cough syrup.

We never got to the food. The restaurant was closed an hour before its business hours indicated and the rude guy inside pulled the door shut in our faces.

Had it long ago and was finally near the area and in need of pho but they were closed at 10:23am on Tuesday yet Google, Apple, their sign, and yelp all say open at 10am. Very disappointing I took the time to detour this way and find parking only to find it closed.
My favorite pho spot in the city
