Pho 63 sits, unassumingly, in a shopping plaza off of Hampden Ave across the parking lot from Whole Foods. I placed an order for pick up and didn't dine in, but I immediately noticed the cleanliness of the restaurant when I walked in. The dining area is quaintly decorated, but the lighting is quite bright. The Pho Ga was prepared as a take out order usually is. The broth containered separately from the chicken, sprouts, onions and basil. I would say the add ins were extremely fresh but some things were lacking. There was barely any cilantro (cilantro pictured was from the Cánh Gà Chiên order). The rice noodles were cooked absolutely perfect for a to go order. Still warm and soft, but not overcooked. I also ordered Cánh Gà Chiên and it was amazing. The crispy meaty wings were perfectly coated in sauce and a blanket of sesame seeds. All in all, the 3 star rating comes from a solid meal but not an over the top flavorful experience.

Brief summary of our dining experience. The place is very traditional, the food is okay, and the service was very friendly even from a brief experience picking up our food. With that being said, let's go into some further detailTo start, the P12 (Shrimp, crab meat, fish ball) ended up being a pretty good dish. As all pho goes, it stays very versatile for the consumer so you can never truly judge bad pho as it is based on how the diner makes it. Next is the A12 (BBQ short ribs), these smelled very good however the taste was underwhelming. They had very good bones but it just did not deliver fully in terms of powerful flavor. The A9 (Crab cheese wonton) were by far the best in our order, they were very tasty and flavorful with a follow through of a harty crunch from the shell.The staff were sweet old Asian man and woman, they didn't speak much English but they were able to guide us to our pick up order.The place itself is very traditional and obviously authentic.Overall, I recommend for a quick pho spot!

Speaking from experience, consistent Pho take-out.This is my go-to Pho take-out so can't speak about the casual dining aspect. It's always very fast (like 10-15 minutes) and they are very nice when picking up. I've been vindicated by taking my roomie and now she's getting take-out here too.Tried and true... veggie, chicken and veggie, beef regular sized Pho.
