I was charged for large combos when I did not request my combos to be supersized. The manager could not speak English at all. He could only speak Spanish . I also asked for all drums on my wings and none of the order had drums expect only two. We ate the food, I didn’t want to complain but this is ridiculous. Lastly when my teenage daughter applied to work for this company , it was mentioned no visible tattoos or piercings ,however, the adult cook in the back had very large visible tattoos .
This location , no, ALL Denver Popeyes locations have given Popeyes a bad name at this point. None of the employees speak English, the service is terrible and the chicken is never fully cooked through.
Now looking at the other comments, these employees have no consideration of the company in its entirety.

The worst Popeyes. Gave us a coke instead of a strawberry Fanta, a regular chicken sandwich instead of spicy and a 4 piece of breast and wing when I ordered 4 wings. Clearly hire the slowest, most uneducated people they could find. Should have given me 50% off the max since that’s all I got.
The oil needs to be changed; the chicken comes out almost black because they don't change it. This is the third time I've been there, and it's the same every time. It's my fault for going back.

I love Popeye's chicken breast.
The people who work there were quick and friendly. Their strawberry pie and app cheesecake are yummy
Keep up your good work
Thank you!

Best customer service in the evenings! I love how friendly and helpful the night manager is and Sophia is the best. Food is always fresh.

This place is extremely understaffed. Lunch time, 3 people doing everything. One cook and one guy doing drive thru and counter, the other lady helping at both. Waited in the lobby in front of the door while they took care of several drive thru people before helping me. I ran up here from work, and it took longer to order then it took to drive there and back. I wont go again at lunch time.

Manager guy Spanish leaning seemed to favor Latinas over American customers went extra for Spanish people “would you like extra this that and the other” and basically handed everyone else their order. Chicken was old and dark colored Luke warm, definitely had been sitting for a minute. Fries fresh, biscuits fresh, chicken old slaw tasted sour!!! Had to ask for spoon ketchup and sprinkles while I watched him offer Spanish folk without asking.

I ordered spicy fried chicken, a biscuit, mac-n-cheese, sweet tea, & a caramel apple cheesecake cup. ALL of the food tasted Phenomenal!!! And the service was kind, courteous, and professional. The team members were working hard and with great efficiency, and seeming team work! Seems to be a well-managed and professionally run location. Also, the restroom was very clean, as well as the dining tables.
My only disappointment is that the sweet tea was not at all sweet to the standard of Popeye’s Southern-style/Louisiana-style sweet tea. So that was my only regrettable purchase (as someone from the south, who Knows adequately sweetened sweet tea, hehe). But that may, perhaps, be done deliberately, so as to suit the different palette and sweet tea norms of the Colorado patrons.

If there were a Michelin star for fast food, this Popeyes on Federal would have it in blazing neon letters. Let’s be clear—without Ubaldo and Gabby, this place would be a barren parking lot echoing with the ghosts of missed drive-thru orders. They are the lifeblood, the soul, the magic behind every perfectly crispy chicken tender and buttery biscuit that leaves this kitchen.
Ubaldo is a legend in the art of hospitality. He remembers faces, makes real conversation, and somehow keeps his calm even when the line is wrapped around the block. Gabby is pure sunshine in human form, moving with grace and precision like she’s conducting a symphony of flavor and customer care. Together they transform a simple fried chicken run into a full-blown experience—one that restores your faith in fast food and maybe even humanity.
They don’t just take your order—they take care of you. They make sure every need is met with genuine kindness, every sauce request honored like a royal decree, and every meal delivered with pride. You can taste their effort in every bite.
I’m convinced that without Ubaldo and Gabby this Popeyes would crumble like a biscuit without honey. They are the heart of this place, and because of them, I’ll keep coming back again and again. If there’s a Hall of Fame for customer service, they both deserve statues—right next to the drive-thru window.

I don't recommend eating here if you're careful with your health. It seems like the employees never do care if you got your food and drinks correctly, and then the top of the cherry in experience, poison food. I have eaten here before and tolerated the bad customer service or poor dining area, but now I would not drink a glass of water from this place.

I ordered chicken tenders and omg those were not even tenders. It was just dry and fat pieces.. terrible product. I told them to change them
And the cashier says that all the pieces come like
That so they cannot do anything. Are you serious? Not coming back! Waste of time
And money! They do not make it right, they jusy want your money! BUY HERE IF YOU WANT DRY AND OVERCOOKED CHICKEN! Also those were cold and dry!
