My favorite breakfast spot in Denver. The food and coffee are great but the people are the best part. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, even to our wild 4 year old. Don’t miss the Cuban sandwich if you come for weekday lunch!

We grabbed brunch on a Saturday back in September back in 2024. I'm finally getting around to cleaning out my reviews.
The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was not worth the $10. The breakfast burrito was good and had very good spice but also not really worth $12. Our drinks were okay. I'm a stickler with bloody Mary's and theirs was decent but whatever mix they use is a bit thin for my liking. The mezcal sunrise is a better drink though.
The seating and ordering area is very cramped. I wouldn't recommend trying to eat or drink there with any more than 3 people and honestly more than 2 is kind of pushing .

I first visited this place 5 years ago while I was on a business trip in Denver and left a 5-star review back then. Now, five years later, I actually live in Denver—and I still come here all the time. Their breakfast burrito with the signature sauce is amazing, and the team working here are genuinely great people. The food is consistently delicious👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Theres a few close contenders for best breakfast sandwich in Denver and I really think this may be the one! Aside from their exceptional coffee, their breakfast sandwich, The Duke, is just divine! Every time I come here everyone is extremely kind and helpful and they have remembered me every time. Port Side is quickly becoming my regular coffee stop!

Staying nearby for a weekend trip and had no idea I was about to eat the BEST breakfast burrito I have ever had. Truly. It was so flavorful and filling. I rarely write reviews and had to rate this 5 stars while I was still eating because I enjoyed it so much. Enjoyed the pistachio latte, too!

My girlfriend and I randomly came here in order to find a place to have breakfast and coffee. We were immediately treated to a great aroma and an even better atmosphere. We are traveling from out of town but the staff immediately made us feel like we were regulars. The food was incredibly tasteful and the chef/owner went out of his way to make sure that we enjoyed our meals and even gave us more recommendations on our day trip to Colorado Springs. I highly recommend this establishment.

If you're looking for a cozy, classic cafe that knows how to make an espresso drink and delicious small dishes, this is your place and certainly is mine.
First, I don't know how long it's on the menu, but The Duke sandwich will blow your mind and taste buds! GO GET ONE OF THESE BEFORE THEY ARE GONE! It's a pulled pork sandwich that has obviously marinated in a spectacular season palette to the point where the meat actually melts in your mouth. The pickles on this thing are a perfect match along with a small pile of fresh baby kale.
I ordered it on a whim and, wow, I can't imagine why there wasn't a line out of the front door just for this sandwich, I'm not joking. Go get one...right now.
The barrista who was making our espresso drinks did so with artisan skills and it was exceptionally made.
So the location, it's almost the size of an extra large walk in closet and seating inside is for only about 25 people, and that would be tight. There is more seating outside on the front patio and of course gettingsomething to go is an option. We went here on a Wednesday morning for breakfast but ended up getting there closer to 10:30 and there were only 4 other patrons there so we had a great experience. I hope this place is doing well because I would like to know that a niche coffee shop can still survive for long in this day and age. If they advertise The Duke sandwich and keep it consistent, I'm sure this would become a national chain, LOL!...no, seriously. Go Get One This Minute!
Parking: Just park in one of RiNo district lots and walk to this location
Kid-friendliness: Don't be ignorant, keep your rug rats outside, get your food to go and eat outside or anywhere else other then in this very tiny location.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ummm, it's doable but it will be a pain in the ass.

We make it a point on vacation to choose small businesses to give back to the community in which we visit. This was a great choice. The whole experience will forever stay with us. If you are vegan, I highly recommend the vegan burrito. It was to die for. The chef came to talk. The barista was very thoughtful and make amazing drinks. This is why, we choose small businesses. You will never get that top notch, extra thought experience. This place and it's employees truly got it. We are very thankful we got to experience it.
