Couldn’t decide between the veggie or bacon burrito, but per staff recommendation, I decided on the bacon. I elected to add avocado. Absolutely no regrets. It does have a kick- and I did sweat a little, but it was worth it. Also, special shoutout to the kitchen for creating such a masterpiece. 10/10. Will be back.

Get the duke, you won’t regret it. And a cookie.

Good variety of unique breakfast creations. It’s a place I go to when in the area. Does fully inspire for a drive across town.

I’ve been to Port Side several times now, and every time I walk through the doors, it just feels like the kind of spot that Denver locals are lucky to have. It’s tucked in a quiet corner of RiNo with this modern, cozy atmosphere that somehow feels both minimalist and warm — like a perfect balance of neighborhood coffee shop and high-quality brunch café. The staff here genuinely seem to care about what they’re doing, and that’s a rare thing to find anymore.

On my last visit, I ordered the breakfast burrito, which looked absolutely beautiful when it came out — perfectly toasted, hearty, and packed full of flavor. But here’s where it got interesting: it was extremely spicy. I mean seriously, I was in awe of how many pepper seeds made it into that thing. It wasn’t just a light kick — it was a full-blown spice event. My mouth was on fire, and I was genuinely shocked by the heat level. It was unlike any burrito I’ve ever had.

What impressed me most, though, wasn’t the food — it was how the staff handled it. When I mentioned it to them, they didn’t brush it off or get defensive. They listened, they smiled, and without hesitation they offered to make things right. They gave me a breakfast sandwich on the house as a replacement, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The bread was toasted to perfection, the egg was cooked just right, and the balance of flavors was spot-on. That sandwich reminded me exactly why I come here — because they care about delivering something exceptional and they treat their customers with real respect.

The way they handled that little mishap showed true professionalism and pride in their craft. Most places would’ve shrugged it off or made it awkward, but Port Side turned it into one of the most positive experiences I’ve had in any Denver café. You can tell this team has heart — they want people to leave happy, and they do it with grace and genuine hospitality.

So here’s the bottom line: the food here is outstanding, the coffee is consistently top-tier, and the people behind the counter are the kind you actually want to support. If you’re in Denver and haven’t checked out Port Side yet, do yourself a favor — go. Whether it’s for the breakfast sandwich that saved my morning or that unforgettable burrito with the pepper seeds that nearly took me out, you’ll leave with a story, a smile, and a real appreciation for what great local food service should feel like.

I decided to check this place out while visiting here in Denver. Love the vibes in here. They were very friendly and delivered excellent customer service. I ordered an Ice Matcha with lavender syrup and oat milk along with a bacon egg cheese sandwich for a quick bite.

One of the best spots in Denver. The coffee is incredible and the food even better. The duke and breakfast burrito are my go to’s. The owner and rest of the staff are truly kind and very passionate about their restaurant. After moving out of downtown area, it is the only reason I really ever come back down here.

Absolutely love this spot. The food is out of this world (The Duke breakfast sando is 🔥🔥🔥, along with the vegan muffins). The ambiance is chill, usually backed up with some fun beats, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitley go with a little bit of time to spare - they lean into a leisurely pace, never sweating even with a long line out the door - but I appreciate their invitation to slow down and enjoy a meal. If you go with all that in mind, you won’t be disappointed.

My favorite breakfast spot in Denver. The food and coffee are great but the people are the best part. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, even to our wild 4 year old. Don’t miss the Cuban sandwich if you come for weekday lunch!

We grabbed brunch on a Saturday back in September back in 2024. I'm finally getting around to cleaning out my reviews.

The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was not worth the $10. The breakfast burrito was good and had very good spice but also not really worth $12. Our drinks were okay. I'm a stickler with bloody Mary's and theirs was decent but whatever mix they use is a bit thin for my liking. The mezcal sunrise is a better drink though.

The seating and ordering area is very cramped. I wouldn't recommend trying to eat or drink there with any more than 3 people and honestly more than 2 is kind of pushing .
