Prodigy Coffeehouse / 40th & Colorado

I’m impressed by Prodigy Coffee — not only for their delicious drinks and welcoming space, but also for their inspiring business model. Prodigy is a social enterprise that trains and mentors young adults through hands-on experience in the coffee industry. I had the pleasure of meeting Emilia, their Learning Manager.

The space itself is beautiful — there’s open-air seating perfect for sunny Denver days, ample parking, and even a convenient drive-through if you’re on the go. Whether you’re looking for a place to get some work done or just want to grab a coffee to take with you, it’s a great spot. They also offer a well-designed community space for meetings or gatherings, which makes it feel like a true neighborhood hub.

I love this coffee shop!! I stop by frequently on my way to work and the baristas are always so welcoming and have a smile on their face. My caramel latte makes my day, but the art they do on the drink makes it 10x better. You can tell the baristas love what they do!!

The customer service has slowly declined over the years from the original staff. I understand everyone has bad days; and it's of upmost importance to check that at the door. Some of the staff constantly have attitudes, and even ignore you at times, it's ridiculous.

Their coffee isn't to die for that it is worth dealing with. It's a darn shame and I am not surprised to see how many less customers I've noticed (whether that's accurate or not I don't know, but that is my observation). Hopefully that changes...

The drinks are great, but the service is poor. I wanted to make a separate purchase while waiting for my drink, and I offended the barista when I asked for more help.

🗣This is an amazing place💯. Good vibes and great service. All the employees are very professional and polite. The coffee is some of the best coffee I've had, especially the ice latte. I have been coming here for a while now . If you're🫵 reading this and would like a place to have a meeting , bring a date👩‍❤️‍👨, or just chill a lone, this is the spot . Free Wi-Fi and a very clean bathroom . I'm sure all the businesses are great , but this review is for the Prodigy's off of 40th and Colorado by the Colorado Station .🫶

This place is super close to where I work so if there are no offices available I’ll walk over here to get a drink, snack and a space to do my work. I didn’t love my horchata the first time here but I haven’t had any further issues. The staff is always nice, the food is yummy and the atmosphere is comforting

I asked for an Americano and the barista filled it to the very top causing a mess so I asked to have another one made not filled to the brim and she did the exact same thing again!!! I asked her why she did the same thing again after it was problematic the first time and she wouldn’t answer and gave me another cup to divide it into and so I had two very watered down half filled americanos that needed to be thrown away.

Comfortable and airy repurposed gas station / garage. I was there early and half asleep so no photos. It gets nice sun in the morning with a mix of regulars who hang out and regulars who stop in going to work. Pastry selection could be improved otherwise great place to stop on a busy street with lots of parking.

Trying to get in touch with, the coffee shop is impossible. My husband left his debit card there, there is a number to call but you cant speak with anyone the email that is given is not found. There should be a better way to communicate with the coffee shop.

Bad customer service made us really late to work 30 minutes we waited no line for one coffee not worth it slow slow employees
