BEST IOWA HAWKEYE BAR!!! We love the pub on Pearl. They have surprisingly GREAT food. Also they have touchtunes. One time they saved my friend who was choking on a cheese curd. 10/10
I didn't order food on this visit, but for a blizzardy night with a tiny crowd that seemed to be all neighborhood regulars, everyone made me feel welcome when I needed a rest and a good beer. Will definitely stop by again soon. Thanks, ya'll.
Went there for the 1st time & loved the vibe of this local neighborhood pub. We didn't stay long because we couldn't eat due to no one to cook it. That sucked because on their website & on the chalkboard there's a food menu. I'm in the food service industry & know all about the shortage of employees . However knowing this, to keep business going...there should be a back up plan. I would've spent a lot more money & time if there was food....
