I wrote a post about this bar awhile ago but removed it because I did not want to be a dick. This bar used to be my watering hole. Since the pandemic it has become a bar very stingy with its booze. To me, personally, its a place to watch a sporting event and drink ONLY BEER. I would also select menu items that don't include protein like FRIES or if you are not finicky maybe a CORN DOG. I was really surprised at how good the food is at the Pub on Penn. The tacos are some of the best I’ve had. We were staying at the Capitol Hill Bed & Breakfast and wanted a quick bite late in the evening. The Pub is very close so we gave it a try and now I would probably go out of my way to go back for the tacos!

They just add whatever they want to open tabs. I got one pitcher and was charged $60. This has happened multiple times, service is very poor.
Huge bar with lots of bar games, smoking area has non closong door by the darts though.

Went in for happy hour after a brutal election night. Bri was bartending and absolutely crushed it. Great happy hour, personable staff and good vibes, we are adding this place to our local bar rotation for sure!
